About Us
The 25th Regiment of Foot was a British Line Infantry Regiment. Founded in March 2013 on the principles of fair play,
respect and community spirit, the 25th has enjoyed many years of gaming together. Since foundation, we
have aimed to strike a balance between competitive events and more casual gaming: from competing in
multiple seasons of the Napoleonic Wars League to weekly gaming nights, we have something for everyone, no matter
your experience or ability.

Our everlasting commitment to ethical conduct.
Our intention was to run the Regiment in an ethical way, with an emphasis on fairness, honesty and
communication. We wanted all players to feel they were being treated fairly and with respect. As such, we never
tolerated bullying, racism, homophobia, political extremism or xenophobia of any kind.
Financial transparency was central to our mission. We uploaded proof of our monthly expenditure on our servers,
Teamspeak and website, so that our generous donators could feel safe in the knowledge that their contributions were
going to good use.
Our members were integral to the success of the regiment, and we always respected their opinions. Regular dialogue between
the staff and members, including taking anonymous complaints and Q&A sessions, helped ensure that everyone
were being taken seriously. We were always working on ways to improve. |

Was a really nice Groupfighting match tonight; 7v7 so a little different to the 5v5 we're practiced in but it made a nice change and it was great that almost the whole team could play at once. Good 10-5 victory as well.

It's still a part of your point that you brought up which can easily be addressed/resolved.
When I asked Eazy if I could/couldn't play he said you didn't specify if I could or couldn't. So I said if I haven't been rejected then I'll show up. I was quite happy not to attend hence why I asked Eazy first. Though it has seemed this whole tournament you have just lead a personal attack against me as a player. Allowing K-KA members to play for yourself that in reality have no loyalty to you but not allowing me to play for the regiments that I am actually actively playing in.
So if you want to talk about what people would 'rather' then I think we'd all rather you stopped being biased and actually looked at matters in a rational matter.
If you read any of my posts I never claimed that you said I could play. I said I spoke to Gi before/during the match and there seemed to be no issues. You would think if I wasn't allowed to play he would have kept me in spec or removed me from the server considering I used my own name with no alias or second/third key and my own name was posted on the roster. I hardly tried to hide myself. I also checked the rosters thread and couldn't see you denying or pointing out any issues with me being added.

That being said no matter if it was a split or not, the community gained great regiments out of it.

I meant you! I know you didn’t split and neither did the 59th. There were genuine regiments that split away and those regiments that based them self’s on the 33rd system. The 25th website looked like a clone of the 33rds at one point. I’m not denying the hard work you did. The 25th was fantastic.
I remember that 33rd private Easy E. I swear you was Stefan favourite child or something.
The 73rd, 25th, 59th etc all remained on good terms with the 33rd. Less so under Spoons. Many of us held fond memories of our “big brother regiment”

I believe so. Might of been Bob? However I always seen Col Stefan and 25th Easy being good friends in NW. 25th always got the best spots in the 33rd events. Of course Stefan always went the extra mile for our regiment and really helped us get the ball going. In a way Stefan indirectly killed the 33rd siege server, Stefan hosted our NWRP and Jailbreak servers and was a great help for us.

Well anyways, I have always held 25th high because it was the 25th members that encouraged me to convert 83rd into a competitive regiment! Thats when the 18e was born!
Saw Siobs and a few others lurking around in the 25th again last year which was nice to see :)

I was in the 33rd when Tane and Leonidas were leading (Dec 2012 - Feb 2013 or something), Stefan was a serjeant when I joined. But yeah it was Stefan that really helped me out with starting the regiment so if there is any credit to hand out, it's to him (and Gurkha since yeah I did take inspiration from his website).

He might as well have been double regging with us he invited so often! Also helped me setting up servers etc. the first time and getting the 83rd off the ground when we exploded with numbers.
