Regiments / 2nd Battalion of Royal Marines [EU]

Formed on the 23/06/15
Brief History :
The Second Battalion was formed at Chatham, and deployed to Portsmouth in July 1812. It consisted of six companies under the command of Major James Malcolm. On 15 August, the battalion embarked aboard HMS Fox (3rd to 6th companies) and HMS Latona (1st and 2nd companies), to deploy in Northern Spain under the command of the squadron of Home Riggs Popham. The battalion disembarked at Zumaia on 18 August, and joined up with Spanish forces under the command of Francisco de Longa. The battalion re-embarked on 20 September, and were landed at Santander on 28 September.
Further reinforcements for the battalion disembarked soon after Diadem arrived on 29 November at Santander, resulting in two companies being added and another company of artillery being formed. Some of the reinforcements had returned from garrison duty on the island of Anholt, Denmark. The deployment of both battalions in Northern Spain forced the French to redeploy 30,000 men, away from the Salamanca campaign. The Duke of Wellington was so impressed that he requested they would be placed under his command, but was rebuffed by the Admiralty.
A little bit about us and our aims :
The 2ndRM, (2nd Battalion of Royal Marines) led by Cpt Jay-Pegg, are a mix and match of veteran, skilled and disciplined soldiers who rally to glory (or death) for King George, under a fine new colour but surrounded by worn faces that know too well what will unfold before them. As a marine line regiment with high expectations and ambitious goals, we aim to have Quality over Quantity whatever the circumstances. During events we also aim to have a lot of fun while out there kicking ass as a regiment, while remaining disciplined and civil, and being respectful to all the other Regiments we are playing with.
The 2ndRM also have another Detachment under its wing called the 2ndQL, who are old friends of the 2ndRM. The 2ndQL is a Light Infantry Regiment who are led by the highly skilled Rumeni and King in the North. The Queens Lights have been around for a considerably longer time period than most regiments, and therefore know the inside and outs of mostly everything, especially if they are forced into a sticky situation while in combat. The Queens Lights are a very skilled and fun lot, and therefore the 2ndRM are happy to play with and be associated with them.
In addition of getting another Detachment in the Regiment, we have just created the 2nd Kings Artillery (2ndKA). Despite them being created not long after the first two detachments, they already have quite a hefty roster of veteran players in contrast to the 2ndRM and the 2ndQL. The Artillery is led by Lieutenant Wadey, a highly experienced player in the NW Community, especially in Artillery, who is also very old friends with me and has also been around for what seems centuries. We have yet to see what the 2nd Kings Artillery will become, however we all hope that they will become largely popular and successful.

Why you should be an administrator?: I'm usually always on the server, from 10AM to 10PM, (but wont be around sometimes because of
events and going out etc) I can be trusted and i am also considered quite mature by Regimental Friends and Strangers, i also know the rules
of the server as i have been playing on Tropical Paradise since i started M&B Warband NW (Tropical Paradise was my first ever server i played on.)
Ive also had experience as Admin before, and not just on M&B. I have had Server Admin on Teamspeak Servers also (7th TS, 21st TS, 30th TS).
Previous Experience(If Any): I had Server Admin on two of my old Regiments' servers. (Nr3 & 21st)
