What happened to the Union Volunteer/Regular Infantry? Was that not supposed to be in the .4 update?

All about the Muskets and Melee:
The new unbayoneted musket melee is just ridiculous. Why is this animation having you swing with the barrel? The melee like that should be the same as the rifles, it makes a lot more sense. Also, when you hit someone with an unbayoneted musket, it still makes a slash sound, and it does CRAZY amounts of damage. However, even with these cons... I really do like how you have the option of using a bayonet or not. I like the effect it has on accuracy where a musket with bayonet is less accurate than one without a bayonet. Realistically, and historically, this is perfect. The bayonets of the time were a good 6+ pounds. That definitely has an effect on a 10+ pound musket that's 4+ feet long. I also think, on a realistic and historical level, that a musket with a bayonet should reload slower. Having a fixed bayonet made the user much more cautious when reloading his musket. Wouldn't want to cut your hands up, right? Now, along with the reload why does it look so weird? When in a reload, the toon flips the gun upside down, and proceeds to reload the musket under his armpit. Then, when the reload is finished, the toon flips it back into the regular "At the Ready" position. This, to me... just looks weird. Also, while playing today, I realized something very bad. The muskets without bayonet in melee has some really bad ghostreach. You can hit someone about a foot out of range of the musket.
The New Units:
I'm sort of... 70 (Pro)/30 (Con) on this, and here's why! I really like the new units y'all added. The CSA now have an irregular/volunteer basic infantry to pick from, but wait. What happened to the Union Volunteer Infantry? I thought y'all said you were going to add them? Well, hopefully we will see them within the next few patches. The new Vidette cavalry, in my opinion, is an excellent addition to the CSA and USA rosters. We now have the option of a very mobile skirmish-like troop capable of harassing enemies very effectively. The music corps? Awesome. The USA Marines? FUCKING. EPIC. Fire Zouaves? Sweet (Audiate will be proud
) Not sure I can say that I like how officers now spawn on horses, but hey, you guys said it yourself, "If you don't want the horse, just dismount." The musician privates have no legs! ERMEHGERD!
The New Textures:
I must say, they are really cool. Gives a more Victorian American feel to the battlefield. I see the muskets have new textures, however the Enfield Musket was better the way it was, the dark wood. The dark wood is also more historically accurate. Springfield's came in different "colors." They used oak wood, birch wood, whatever wood which was sturdy enough to withstand recoil without breaking. So, really... you'd see the Union with dark, light, mid tone muskets.
The Lag:
OMG! The lag. At first I thought it was my computer, but I was wrong. This mod lags so bad; Example being my average fps with v.3 was 120. My fps now? ~10-15. Yeah, it's really bad. My fps clear and gets good only when I look away from other guys, but it only goes up to ~40. Idk, maybe it is just me, but others on the servers i was "playing" with were complaining about the new graphical lag as well.
Conclusion:
I really do enjoy this new version. Although it's got many flaws, in my opinion, not everything will or can be addressed. I just want this mod to be so much better. So that more people will come and play and having a really kick ass time. Great job guys! I really appreciate this mod. My rating of the mod currently is 3.5/5 - There's just so much that needs to be addressed. I can't wait until it does!
