Important info about rosters: It has come to our attention that the rule was a bit vague when it comes to the regiment some people belong to, especially given the period, with a winter transfer period having just happened after the CL and many people having switched regiments, yet without being given the chance to play much with them.
Essentially, the rule was put in place to avoid what normally happens when a 5v5 is hosted, with most people forming teams with players they are familiar with, aka their regimental mates. The reasoning behind this is to prepare people for the fantasy league (as mentioned earlier on this thread), but with a more comfortable stage where people get to play with new teammates, while still deciding who they get to play with (which won't be a given for everyone in the fantasy league).
As such, we don't want to blindly apply a ruling which makes no sense given certain situations. We encourage people to reach either Skittles or myself, be it teams already formed or teams in the making, and discuss your potential rosters with us. The more transparent you are with us, the easier it will be to find a solution which satisfy both the admin team and the players to a certain extent. Even if you don't end up forming said teams or playing with said people, at least you will know we are fine with it if we gave you our approval beforehand, which makes it easier for everyone in the larger picture.I won't be super available in the following three/four days so consider reaching Skittles first if you have any inquiries but I will try to check my messages from time to time. We got 10-11 teams signed-up (still trying to figure out if Amue's team is the result of a drunken night on the 15thYR's TS or an actual application
) so that makes confident we'll reach our goal of 12 signed-up teams by the end of the sign-up period. This also means we'll be ready to increase the number of slots by four, would more teams wish to partake. So keep them team applications coming.
