First of all, thank you so much for coming back to our party. I’m not much of a speaker, but I do have a few things to say.
It seems like only yesterday that the 92nd was taking its first steps, and now it is one of the largest and oldest regiments around. It managed to impress everyone more and more with each passing day, and our little bundle of joy has blossomed into an accomplished young regiment who can go toe-to-toe with any of her peers. We’re so proud of you, 92nd!
But, as the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and we certainly had quite the village on our side. Thank you so much to its grandparent, Donald, for moving all the way across the the world when the 92nd was born and providing endless hours of free fun. When Vincenzo and I started working on Napoleonic Wars, you made me feel like part of the family, and I’m so happy you were here to help us raise our only DLC. I also want to thank the Communitys godparents, John Cameron and the 92nd.
They’ve been our best friends since Mount and Musket: Battalion and they have always been there for the Community. I know the Community thinks of you two as a second set of parents, and we’re truly thankful you got to be a part of the Communitys life.
There are so many more people who have supported us along the way, but I think I’ve taken up enough of your time. Please, everyone, enjoy the food, and the 92nd, know that the Community and I wish you success in everything you do. We love you so much.

I polished them a bit :) Yes. Some simple photoshop effects to make the colours stand more out and let it look better. Would be awesome to see you and Akame fighting next to each other on our modification events. Why don't you join us from time to time my friend?

Assassin's Hunt. That shit is hilarious with a big group!
We did an awesome job with our two companies. We were outnumbered by 40! And the 5te supported us very well. Near the end a lancer tried to stab me and in that moment i heard s shot. I looked around and saw the lancer falling from his horse. A 5te Järger shot him down in the last moment and saved my life. Was epic.immer gerne ;)

No idea why I keep going on about that, anyways will there be a new custom map this Thursday ? and conquest too? I miss the MM conquest Line battles you used to host, they were so much fun. I haven't seen the IVe (I think that's what they're called..) since those events. :(

But yes I could we can play some old-school conquest battles in the future again and not only these scenario battles. Also 220 players yesterday on conquest mode and hardly any lag! It was awesome. On some of my company volleys we killed 8-10 of the enemy (you guys :P).

Yes, we noticed :( After we shoot and inevitably miss, Sergi always says "Embrace it !" You guys are always the skirt wearing, death riding wall that always stops us in our tracks, putting fear into our guys when we're about to have a shoot out.
we've never been able to hit a side of a barn whilst standing in it.. thats why we call it "The 1er Curse" because everyone can shoot and kill except us :)

Yeah I remember the IVe bringing 4 regiments to each event, the 45e, the 2e Grenadiers, the 9e Artillery and the 7e Cavalry. You always made nearly up one team on our conquest battles :) We maybe should start these again :)

I was fighting the 92nd when I was a recruit in the 7e Hussards, it was one year and a half ago ! This regiment means a lot for me, because the IVe Corps fought them during ~3-4 months long on MM Russia, and it had been my most epic linebattles :)
I will ask a cavalry regiment and mabe another small inf regiment to join us. Than we can do like brigade vs brigade?

Erik and Tardet, we had a training yesterday and made the shooting practice in different languages. English, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Czech, Slovenian etc etc and of course French. But since our two french players were missing I was not entirely sure if (half scottish half french as I am) did it correct. It is "feu" to fire right? But what is it called to "present"?

Some impressions of our second Lord of the Rings (Hornburg) events - optional and hosted together with the Kings German Legion. Yesterday Gokiller, good friends form the 1er such as Warden, Emperor, Charlie, Karel and Ekky as well as Kitty, Admiral, Vince and many many more friends attended. I think we fought of orcish hordes for about two hours. Our record was on the Hornburg a good 4200 bots if I remember correctly. Thanks everyone for coming it was pure awesomeness with more than 40 players again!

As an NCO I should have know better. I hope this will only blame my name and not that of the 4e. I was a little pissed of and the invite was the last drop that run over the bucket (Dutch proverb). I'm sorry for the mess I made.

I totally agree, we are past the golden ages of regiments. The community is terminally ill now. I've now heard John Cameron is leaving, I'd like to say that I will really miss the 92nd's colonel, and I understand what you're all going through. We are doing pretty fine at the moment. Despite the fact that we have many people currently on holidays we can still bring around 50 ppl per event. We had some improvements within the regiment and we are looking forward to the next weeks :D

And that is similar with most other officers aswell, though Donald has an historical nickname of the Lt.Col. Cameron who died at Quatre Bras on the field.

I really enjoyed the event as well. I think all my guys did. Although with 500 bots spawning at once it got a bit laggy in the end but it was just awesome to see. Yeah in that one round we lost the 22nd shooting completely destroyed us. Their shooting was pretty damn good. I heard they were really good melee fighters and you can see it is true when we had to try our best to bring down Murphy and Nifu for example. But their shooting was as impressive as their melee.

The 1er are playing Commander Battle quite often on our server at the moment and having alot of fun doing it. So I thought it would be quite fun if we had a small fun event with you guys.
A 5-5 or possibly a 10-10 on commander battle against each other, 5-5 we can have around 30-40 per commander.
We do play with a certain rule set which makes it, in our opinion anyway, much more fun and alot less cluster fucky.

urghhh, that last screenshot. That moment was so embarrassing.
My intention was to hold their and face the 92nd line out of the flank trying to give some supporting fire to the guys who were fighting in the town, I had 15 men and looks like you had double the amount hehe but every little helps.
Unfortunately when I got to the wall I got a ping spike of around 2-3000, so when I ordered to hold and face right all they heard was much like a fax machine trying to speak English.
So with the 92nd starting to focus on us panic set in so naturally the 1er ran around like headless chickens and formed a blob making a bigger target. I just slammed my head into the desk and started to cry. If you were in that 92nd line, you know what happened next...
Sums up how we played in tonights event, Must be a mix of exams and the world cup taking most of our experienced players away.

To recruit who !?If you go on 33rd and ask people in team chat, that usually works. Lots of NA regiment have been doing that lately and EU too.
Everyone is in a regiment now days, and most people playing on public servers without tags on have seen so many recruitment messages they no longer want to be in a regiment or their regiment just disbanded and they dont want to join another.

Yes we are. It is without a doubt the 1er_Gren is going down, not in any haste but nevertheless on a downwards spiral. No one in EU is active other than fear on group fighting, sure 1 or 2 go on every now and then but I wouldn't really call it active recruitment. Best I can do is try to keep everyone together and if we're going down, well, a captain must go down with his ship. ;)

The 92nd have always had good servers, their events are relatively lagg free and only on rare occasions the server derps and everyone gets over 100 ping.
The vast majority of the time you only lagg by your own internet being crap then the server actually lagging. (Speaking through many years of experience)

Last round the 7e won and made it a 4:1! Not much can stop these 15-18 cavalry guys who ride and fight like 50.
But we had great melee today against the 3rd, 1er and IVe. Fantastic. And due to the smaller numbers there was hardly lag either which made it really enjoyable.
We even had our squares today against the 7e! :D Not the most beautiful ones, but forming them in the middle of a battle instead of a training is of course a difference. And they seemed to work quite decently.
Best moment for us today was though when the 7e charged us in line... against both 92nd companies when they were nearly last ones alive. And we gave the volley and killed about 8 of them and nearly dismounted the complete rest.

The painting is very well-chosen, and sums it up quite well I must say.
At first, the 7e was hidden behind a hill, I was the only one at the top of it, looking at the plain with my spyglass.
Then I saw the horde.
60 Highlanders walking straight at us, at slow pace, in perfect order. As wonderful as painful to watch.
I called my second in command, gave him my spyglass, and told him to look at that. Same reaction, "Woah."
Then I called all of the regiment at the top of the hill, for all my men to spectate such a thing. We looked at our lines, nearly destroyed, and thought: "Fuck it, it's lost anyway".

I'm really glad to know that they spend time training on groupfighting, that's actually one of the way, if not the best, to progress quickly in term of melee level, however don't make me think they could give us hard time Zeeth, team up or not, cause I could hardly believe it :P

Did you find yourself a suitable EU regiment you can play in or do you basically just work as a Ensign in the 71st, something which still must take a lot of time I suppose ^^

Well I go to University but hopefully NA events are on Friday and Sunday so I can atleast attend one of them and since Wednesday is my day off, I can help the NA company at their training on Tuesday a bit. :) But yeah I can understand you man. Sad thing though, because If I remember correctly, you were doing incredebly good for a NA at EU Linebattles while still being in the 17e. Definetly a loose for the regiment you might have join If you still had the time :P
And well, I do not have the pretention to be a Corporal yet, but as a LanceCorporal pretty good I must say. Nor do the 92nd has the pretention to be considered as the "best eu". We're doing things in our ways, trying to be as friendly as possible with everyone while giving a good challenge to everyone who might have the wish to face us in Linebattle. ;)
