Thanks for those. Unfortunately the volunteer adventures is unavailable here in the at least on amazon. Though I may track it down. Not sure about the other two yet. Would like to know a bit more before battle! Have a great love of reading history.

Was wondering if anyone has any recommended reading on the civil war. A list of the more readable histories? Also soldiers biographies? I have only one book on the Civil war in my library but it's in storage along with most of my life. & I can't get at it!  Picked it up on a whim in Waterstones as it was a complete history full of maps along with some first hand accounts. Wish I could get at it now. How about a list of the best readable ones?

Very interesting. Sure this will have a huge market & should be a winner. Though a Napoleonic nut. I will probably have to get this as I have an interest in this also. Would like to see the evolution of the game. Exciting stuff. Will there be a single player historical campaign I wonder? All the best with this!
