Title: EU Community Rep Post - December-February Term
Post by: retamar123 on December 03, 2017, 12:10:53 am: Hello , I am retamar the new EU CR well as i dont know if so much people know ( i think most of the EU community knows me ) i will do a little bit introduction.

I am retamar a spanish guy who is in this little world ( mount and blade ) since 2013-2014 , i started this game with fun and want to try to finish it with the same. When i saw that a new CR election is opened i thought that it could be a good idea to try it and to my surprise it get ( i know i was the onlye EU guy who tried to be CR in the last election ). I saw that not much spanish guys tried it in the last years of this game so i want to break that stereotype , where the spanish people doesnt exist in this game and ofc i want to try to make better things with the community and try to do my best with all the people who need help.

With that little introduction i will tell you my goals in these two months.

:D First of all i want to do something that i was watching since i joined this forum, i want to try to revive the spanish community in this forums because as i was watching the mods and the people has not written for a long time , so i want to start with something that is near to me and i have some ideas about what to do with those things. ( Process : 10% )

:) then i want to agroup all the events of the EU community that play along the week cause only the events who are in the top or in the first page are what the people watch it , so i want to change it and how Dainyel did in 2014 , i want to return it and update with all the new and the active events that we have along the week ( here u can see what i mean The post that i mean (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=15201.0) ) ( Process : 20% )

:D About the competitive of the EU community i think that it is good, ofc i will try to help them if the need a "hand"

;) I will try to watch what is happening in the Deutsches Forum with the Language Moderator Because before starting my term some people was telling me that something is happening there so i will try to fix it and find a solution for that. (Process : 40%)

These are my goals for now maybe during these two months i am sure about i will find something more where i can help or i can do so , thank you for reading this and sorry for being 1 day later as the other thread, I hope everything is understandable

Pains me to admit it but I agree with Pieter, at least on the EU side of things. No offense to Retamar, he is a lovely person but I doubt he will be able to have any major impact during his time as CR. Hope to be wrong though.

At least on the NA side, Windflower seems rather dedicated to have an impact, even a slight one. Started discussing with the mods, sounds extremely committed. Looking forward to see what he can bring of positive to the table.

Agreed in terms of the plans of Windflower I can say from experience it's good that somebody is bringing back tournaments to the NA community starting off small with a 5v5 who knows maybe NA NWL will make a return eventually.

But on the EU side it's all fine and all talking about something you are going to do on the Spanish forum ( fucking didn't even knew people actually bothered using the language forums anyways)
But overall grouping the events together as Dainyel did is rather unnecessary back then page 1-3 was filled with active events and indeed people only watched the first page of it all mainly but now a days only page 1-2 are active events really and even to that people rarely take the effort to sign up to anything thro checking out the forums usually reg leaders approach other reg leaders informing about there event and if they want they will sign up.

Then on the other point of saying the competitive community on the EU side is fine I would have to disagree yes there is RGL and yes the return of NWL is great but overall it's a really boring happening.

Also what is the point of a community rep interfering in the German forums surely that is why a language mod is there (correct me if I am wrong Tardet) to over look that people behave and act upon the rules of FSE and/or if there are any issues.

I don't want to be a dick towards you Retamar but in the end I am just completely against the community rep thing, as it's so pointless community reps ain't going to change how people look at the game or resolve issues between reg leaders.

All in all Retamar goodluck who knows maybe you can influence something on this forum but overall it seems to me like it's not even worth the time.

Well i am not in the German forums to interfering in , i am trying to fix a problem between some people of the that community and the language moderator , i am not saying that he is doing bad the work or other things. As i said to that people and the moderator i want to find a solutioon to finish that situation and i offered to them to speak each other in a ts and i will be in that ts to try to help both of them
