This tournament was a clapped mess from start to finish.

The fact that we didn't win a single groupstage match and still made it to the final attests to this.

I agree with Gi; the idea is/was amazing, the execution was lacking.
However do i want thank all the admins and organizers for making this Championship happen!

The Tournament is now finished. As soon as the graphic Designers will deliver, we will publish special signatures for the three top Teams. Thanks to the community for making this tournament possible, apart from all disputes and problems this community showed that it is possible to perform a 1vs1 Linebattle Tournament in NW nearly a decade after this Community was born. Before the thread is closed i would like to point out:

Lessons to learn for a second Season:

-> Smaller Teams that are likely to disband should be eliminated before the real tournament starts, most likely in a qualification phase. This prevents a Group Stage that is not capable of giving the other Teams the Experience that we wish for. -> As this is an 1vs1 Tournament there need to be a rule regarding draws in the Final Stage, preventing Refs from taking unbalanced decisions and creating clarity for the Teams. -> At least after the Group Stage all Matches should be reffed by at least two People, one person per Team. -> There should be a childboard, or at least various threads like in other Tournaments. -> There should be at least one or two meetings with all captains to inform about and discuss all important matters

This were in my eyes apart from concrete problems the main issues in this Season. Therefore when there will be a second season this things will be solved with all for the tournament important people. Now last but not least:

I agree that there were ups and downs during this tournament. I believe this is purely because it's the first one of it's kind. Every 'original' tournament can be improved and if it is hosted again we will do so.
