British Empire
(The British reformed their structure in 1881, so regiments such as the 92nd Gordon Highlanders or the 28th North Gloucestershire were all renamed (and in some cases, merged with other regiments) The following link will provide you with a list that could be very handy if you are looking to create a british regiment. Once again, as you can see, the 92nd Gordon Highlanders and the 75th merged and formed "The Gordon Highlanders".

I would like to reserve a regiment for Austro-Hungary under the name "Infanterieregiment  Freiherr von Schwitzer Nr.82". Unfortunately 2. Szekler Grenz-Infanterieregiment was not found to exist by 1916, and through careful research this is the closest relative to that regiment that I have found.

Repost.

Oh, since I see you consider the "k.u.k." status as well, Nr.82 was indeed part of that, so it may be added so it can be standard with the rest. Thanks  :)

Den = The
Die = The
Der = The
Das = The

So technically 'Fur = For, Die = The and Kaiser = Emperor'.

Technically it's the same thing. And your job is to correct everyone's foreign grammar? Sounds...erm...fun. Whatever tickles your fancy and gets you going.

Well, no. Fuer immediately pushes the tense into the accusative, making "der Kaiser" which is masculine(=der, the only nominative possibility) den. As the masculine accusative is "den" not "die" which is feminine, or "der" which is nominative.

It's so much more confusing than English where everything is "the". We don't have different forms of nouns like everyone else.
