How Can I Solve This Strange Issue?

Hello, gamers. I recently purchased 'Battle Cry of Freedom' from Steam and installed it on my Windows 10 PC. I tried capturing the gameplay with OBS Studio. But it captures only a black screen. Can anyone tell me what could be the issue? Kindly help me to solve the issue.

I use OBS to capture my bcof footage and it works fine. Maybe try capturing your windows screen and see if that works and aslong as you have bcof on full screen it should work fine.

Thanks for the responses. I cross-checked this matter and found that everything is on point, but still, it was capturing only black screen. However one of the solutions from this tutorial solved my issue. I ran OBS with administrator permission, after that it started capturing all Gameplay.
