Below is our code of conduct. We expect all members to follow these rules regardless of rank.
These are instated to maintain a respectable image of our regiment and do form the atmosphere we strive to make in our regiment.

  • Respect
Be respectfully to everyone; your fellow members, members of other regiments, public players, etc. Respect server rules and decisions of admins and superiors.
  • Behavior
Follow orders and stay disciplined. Avoid rudeness. Treat others how you want to be treated. Wear our regiment tag and banner with honor. There's a time and place for everything. Try to act mature. We have plenty of fun in & outside of line battles. Trolling and immaturity will not be tolerated. We want to create a fun and mature atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
  • Retaliation
Never retaliate. If you’re being insulted, team killed, or kicked in-game, do not retaliate. It only escalates the situation. Never team kill back.
  • Activity
We encourage you to be active, but we won’t force you to come to any line battles. We just ask that if you do not show up try to give us a heads up. We understand people are busy and will try to accommodate people as best as possible.

Formation of the Regiment/The Battle of Austerlitz

In 1803, the 33ème Demi-Brigade changed its name to the 33ème Régiment d'Infantrie de ligne. At the battle of Austerlitz, the 33ème marched for nearly 150 kilometers for 48 hours and played a significant role in the French victory. Despite being weary from combat, the 33ème pursued the fleeing Russian troops the next day.

Glory in the Rhineland
In 1806 at Auerstädt, the 33ème and the 48ème attacked the enemy forces' right flank and held back a battalion of 60,000 German troops. The 33ème continued their advance into Warsaw and neutralized 3 artillery guns at Nazielsk. The regiment was allowed the first entry into Berlin in recognition of their accomplishments.

The Battle of Wagram
After pushing Austrian forces across the Danube, Napoleon planned an attack in Wagram. The 33e alongside the 15e attacked with a vigor that matched their reputation. The steadfast Austrians were difficult to push back, but once the opportunity for a bayonet charge opened up, the 33e won victory, however with significant losses to their ranks.

"After several years of war many volunteers and levies
knew no other life than soldiering. They grew up very quickly
under fire, facing the armies of Prussia, Austria, Britain,
Spain, Russia and Turkey. They were in turn used as an
instrument of liberation, taking over the frontiers, and
of repression, savagely suppressing internal anti-government
dissent." - Terry Crowdy, English author and researcher

We are a skilled and structured regiment based primarily in North America. Each of our members is unique and has particular strengths, but amongst us, we share a level of seriousness for Napoleonic Wars, as well as politeness and mature behavior towards each other and other members of the community. This translates to skilled and professional behavior on the field of battle. Our mission is to provide an environment in which players can feel comfortable and participate in organized events and line battles. Though we specialize as a line infantry regiment, we often will play as cavalry in our events. We highly encourage you to be active and attend the events you can, we will not enforce attendance. However, we would appreciate a notification of your absence.

The 33e likes to maintain a status as a gaming community as well as a regiment in NW. We encourage members to form groups within the regiment to play different games and invite their friends into teamspeak to play games together. We regularly host laid back events in other games to help this culture flourish. If you are interested in another game, you will certainly find a 33rd who is also interested!

Linebattle events are the main staple activity of the 33e. In linebattle events numbering 200 players. Regiments (clans) form lines of battle and maneuver throughout the map with the goal of killing all the opponents on the other team. In the events the 33e plays as line Infantry. We rely on volleys of musketry and the bayonet to defeat our opponents. The weekly schedule for our group can be found here.

If you are interested in enlisting you must fill out the application form on the IXe Corps Website the link for which can be found below. You must make an account on the website, then you can submit the application which can be found on the "Join the Legion" tab. Simply fill out the form and check back for our reply. If you have any question feel free to contact [33e]KingOscar via steam, or join our teamspeak.
