The Chasseurs detachment is essentially 2-in-1. Since it isn't very specific, it could reference either the Chasseurs a Cheval(cav) or the Chasseurs a Peid (light/skirm). From what I have learned from Frapp there were several units of Chasseurs that ended up a part of the british army somehow. (He'd have to explain it). Regardless, this detachment is essentially acting as the 'specialists' in the 89th as the people in the chasseurs can play both cav and ligh/skirm and even artillery if it was required even though it isn't historical.

Well, historically, I don't believe there was any association from chasseurs to artillery. I was only making a point that the 89th's Chasseurs detachment can do anything.

1) Play as light/skirm (Because of historical relevancy)
2) Play as cav (Because of historical relevancy)
3) Play as artillery (If needed because the detachment is small and can act as 'specialists')

Of course your primary would be light/skirm and cav.
