Having used Avid Media Composer, Sony Vegas and Premiere Pro I'd say go for Premiere Pro 100%
I find Premiere has a nicer interface and is generally more user friendly

Advocates cheating, gives obvious benefits over the base game, once cheating has been normalised, it opens a can of worms for other third party clients
