I googled "Fraps free download" and a random .exe link popped up with (surprisingly, with all dem viruses hanging around on the internet) a legit version of Fraps.

It might be better when it comes to FPS performance and compression, but I have read and seen that barely anything can top Fraps' image quality.

Just to continue the thread...what programs do you guys use to edit gameplay video? I used to use Final Cut Pro when I did some editing shit for my school.

Sony Vegas is in my opinion the best, though you should use some After Effects and such later on to have the best gameplay video. ;)
