M.Tournaments Board / NWMC | Conclusion
« on: April 27, 2023, 03:53:42 pm »
Well, that's it! One of the most extensive and high-quality (in my opinion) groupfight projects in the league format has come to an end! I would like to thank each member of the organizational team separately, but you guys have already heard enough from me in our Steam chat, and I hope that if NW doesn't die completely, then in the near future, we will continue to organize the best tournaments together. Also, a huge thank you to all the referees who participated in NWMC; each of you approached the matter with enthusiasm and a great desire to help! The team and I are very grateful for this!

Despite the comments and complaints of some players, I think the tournament went great overall, and it can be said that it was one of the most successful league format groupfight tournaments in the last 5-6 years. Complaints were mainly due to the match schedule because in the current form in which NW exists, people do not play as actively, and some teams had problems with this, leading to discussions with me and other organizers about rescheduling matches, etc. Nevertheless, we were able to follow the schedule precisely and did not postpone the tournament for a single day (except for the final), for which I am very grateful and glad that the teams were able to step out of their comfort zone to play this league in full. There were also some small complaints about the servers. A lot can be written about servers because the well-known "company" Arctic Servers scammed us, selling us German servers as French ones and simply ignoring a large amount of time. However, it doesn't make much sense to write about it now since I doubt that anyone will buy anything from them in the current reality, so let it be on their conscience.

There were also a huge number of positive comments, especially regarding statistics and match reviews, for which we are also very grateful!

I would like to congratulate The Round Table team, which passed to the playoffs of the first league without a single loss and won this tournament fairly confidently. Also, my congratulations to Infinite, which assembled their team only for this tournament and justified their status as favorites, reaching the final of the first league and taking second place. I think FrenchTouch and Impact also deserve congratulations since they won the second league and took second place, respectively. Well, and congratulations to all the other teams that the tournament is over, and you played it to the very end (which is rare nowadays lol).

I didn't quite manage to write everything structured and more objectively, but I would be glad to receive your feedback on the tournament and whether you enjoyed participating in it. Thank you guys again, and good luck!

M.Tournaments Board / NWMC | Previews & Reviews
« on: March 03, 2023, 07:52:09 pm »

Welcome to this thread! Just wanted to clarify that this thread is specifically for previews and reviews of matches in the NWMC. Here you'll find an analysis of the teams, the players, and the matches themselves, as well as discussions among players and enthusiasts. Feel free to join the conversation and share your thoughts on the upcoming matches and past results. Let's make this tournament even more exciting!

Group Stage Preview: Who Will Come Out on Top?

A Look Ahead at the Top Contenders

The Round Table

Spoiler
Let's start with The Round Table, the most decorated and active team in Napoleonic Wars. They not only had the strongest lineup on paper but also proved it in the game many times. Their dominance made other teams disband and regroup just to beat them. Currently, RT has some small problems, and we may see the once-dominant giant in the world of NW stumble and relinquish its throne of dominance to someone else for the first time in a long time. In their recent one-day tournament, they reached the final as usual but lost to a newly formed team with a not yet fully experienced lineup, Emoji, with a score of 10-7. Before that, RT also lost two of their team leaders, Python and DOMI. The English team's heroes were replaced by a French groupfight legend, Mr. Troister. Not to offend the Frenchman, but I think he understands perfectly well that it will be very difficult for him to replace the two strongest English players of all time. There are also some minor issues with player activity in the team, which raises questions about training matches, which directly affect the form of both star and less skilled players. And here the questions remain unanswered: How much will the changes in the lineup affect the team in the long run? How will they manage to play every 4 days with only 7 players in the lineup? We will soon find out the answers to all these questions, but my prediction regarding RT is 3-0 or at worst 3-1. A lot depends on the motivation of the players and captains, but I can say for sure that this championship will not be an easy walk for them.

Emoji

Spoiler
The second favorite in my opinion is the relatively new team with a kinda childish name, Emoji. The smileys have already proven that they are serious about winning the title and are ready to compete on an equal footing with their main competitor at the moment - The Round Table. The two team captains, Zenon and Giorno, have put together a very interesting, balanced, and truly strong team by mixing young "new-gen" players like HiReaper, Naatsu, Trexons, and veterans like Quenouille, who, by the way, recently returned to the game, and Twister, one of the strongest Ukrainian players in recent years. The team consists mostly of players without big names or stars, who managed to show themselves at the highest level in the last tournament. The captains have once again proven that you don't necessarily need big names to build a strong team.
The only question regarding this team is how far they can go and whether they are ready for a long and Major tournament. My prediction regarding the result in the group stage for Emoji is the same as for RT. If they can continue to develop or at least maintain the level of the last tournament, they should at best go 3-0, and at worst 3-1.

Infinite

Spoiler
If the previous two favorites are objectively the majority's opinion, then now I would like to deviate a bit from that and highlight a completely new team, specially assembled for this tournament, under the captaincy, I dare say, one of the best French player in the last couple of years, Zeyden. The Frenchman has made a name for himself for his leadership skills after creating one of the most successful teams in a long time - Amaterasu. Without any star players at the time, he gathered all the ambitious and potentially very good players, taking both them and the team to the top of the Napoleonic Wars food chain, proving to everyone that the most important thing is desire, motivation, and good leadership of the team. Currently, the Frenchman has gathered around him an equally interesting collective, consisting of Zeyden himself, Chuckster, Gibby, and Maximou, all of these players have already made a name for themselves as Tier 1 and have won numerous tournaments over the past few years. Based on the skills of all these main players, it will not be surprising to anyone that Infinite, like all previous Zeyden’s teams, will be able to achieve a very high result. This will really be one of those teams that will be very interesting to watch. My prediction will be ambiguous, but if you were wondering who Emojis and RT could lose to for a chance to advance from the group stage with a score of 3-0, then this is the team. Accordingly, I believe that Infinite will advance with a score of 3-0, in the worst case 3-1.

Mid-Tier Teams to Watch: Previewing the Sleepers of the Tournament

NSS

Spoiler
Let's start with one of the most stable and oldest teams in the current NW scene - NSS (Nottinghamshire Street Shooters). NSS has been active for the past three years, participating in numerous tournaments, both large like EGS (European Groupfighting Series) and small one-day events. While they have not won anything particularly noteworthy during this time, Maskman's team has managed to place in several tournaments. NSS has often defeated teams that were stronger on paper and surprised everyone, but they always fell short by just a little bit. However, if we're talking about the current NSS lineup, Maskman has assembled a balanced and capable team that can beat any opponent on their best day. The deadly duo of lonedoge and Louis, who were already killing it in the old JediMasters, will be a clear key to victory in many matches. Adding in the ever-ambitious but currently, in good form Fenton, Ilypa, and Mr_T, this team is a clear favorite to make it out 3-1 and can easily compete for the top 4. My prediction is 3-1, and worst case 3-2.

Snappers

Spoiler
Another team that is just as impressive as NSS in terms of their history is Snappers. The team was originally only based on 15thYR, but has since moved away from its roots. Snappers has also been playing at a high level for a very long time, but due to their breaks, they cannot be considered the most stable team in this regard. They have always been a team to be feared. They often knocked out favorites in the playoffs, took bronze and silver medals. Currently, Gi's team has a very deep roster in terms of player selection, with all players being roughly at the same level except for Wursti, who will always be one of the first picks for the starting lineup in any team he plays for. It is also worth noting the growth of players over the past year and a half, particularly Joker and Firefly. If the team and players continue to grow in skill at this pace, Snappers are already 100% focused on the upper bracket semifinals. My prediction is 3-1, and worst case 3-2.

Renaissance

Spoiler
Another equally interesting team is Renaissance. Let's start with their captain - Desant, who is probably the most determined and unlucky person I know in NW. The number of matches he lost while having an advantage is simply impossible to count. Constant changes in the lineup, main players going inactive, disbanding, and so on, all of this have been following Desant for many years. But no matter how bad everything is, this person always manages to gather good and pleasant players around him who listen to him and strive for the best. The current lineup of Renaissance may have looked like a below-average team six months ago, but now, thanks to the desire and good captaincy, players like Lebrun, Vegi, and Flusha have grown in skill and continue to progress. In addition, Blitzkrieg and Marquez recently joined the team, and they have certainly proved themselves as high-level players. Thanks to such a mix of upcoming players and experienced ones, Renaissance has every chance to continue to progress and become even stronger. My prediction is 3-1, at worst 3-2.

FrenchTouch

Spoiler
The return of the legend of all times, or just another average team? Probably the most popular question about Drake's new team each f*cking time. This time, the great Frenchman will be without his friend, one of the strongest NW players of all time, ExtaZz94, and even without LeBrave. Which is very surprising, considering that this trio played more tournaments together than all the players we will see in this championship. But we shouldn't write them off, and even though the team name is not serious at all - DrakeTeamByFrenchTouch, I think we will see a bright and surprising game, as the caliber of players in the lineup is clearly not low, and especially with such aces up their sleeve as Muha, Foxtrot, and Fralla8, the team will definitely try to play on equal footing with everyone. My prediction is 3-2, unfortunately, I don't see a way for them to win 3-1 yet, and even if they do, it won't be easy and they will definitely have to work hard for it.

Animals

Spoiler
The third team in terms of longevity, which every second NW player has probably played for at some point in a tournament, is none other than Coco_Ayala's - Animals. This tag is probably known by all competitive players, and each of them has worn it. This time, Animals will compete in a fairly balanced lineup, with the likes of experienced players and veterans of this game such as Kennedy, who can help both in terms of gameplay and morale and less experienced players. And of course, the "new-gen" players, Flo and Tommy, who have grown in skill over the past year and a half. In total, Coco may surprise everyone again and be a truly dangerous opponent for many teams. My prediction is 3-2, or in the best-case scenario, 3-1 if they really try their best or if there are some good additions to the lineup during the league.

Titans

Spoiler
And perhaps the last team that has a chance of getting out of the group stage with a score of 3-1 or 3-2 is the old-timers from the Movement stack. Despite the fact that the team primarily plays for fun, hardly practices, and simply put, enjoys each other's company, they are still a very dangerous fighting unit that, if they gain momentum, can surprise everyone. The number of players who were recently the best, real game-changers, in this team is simply incredible. If this stack adds a little motivation and a couple of training matches to all of this, we can confidently say that they have every chance of getting out of the group stage with the best possible score, but only if they have real interest and motivation to train. If we base this on what we see at the moment, then my prediction is 3-2, at best 3-0/3-1 if the guys pull themselves together.

NWMC Round 1 Review: Favourites Dominate in Lacklustre Matches

Renaissance vs. 13pp

Spoiler
The first match of the group-stage between Renaissance and 13pp ended in a score of 16-04, with Renaissance emerging as the clear victors. The standout player of the game was Lebrun, who delivered an exceptional performance on the field. With such a dominant display from the Renaissance team, it's clear that they came well-prepared and executed their strategy flawlessly. On the other hand, 13pp will need to reevaluate their approach and make some changes if they hope to improve their performance in future matches. Overall, it was an impressive start to the tournament and players can look forward to more exciting games ahead.

Titans vs. 45e

Spoiler
The Titans have made a resounding comeback, proving that they are not to be underestimated. In a commanding performance, they defeated their opponents with a score of 16-03, leaving no doubt as to who was the superior team on the day. The standout player of the match was undoubtedly bunter_igel, whose skill and precision were unmatched. However, it should be noted that there were some minor behavioral issues from Dayboul of 45e during the game. Despite this, the Titans' victory was a clear indication of their talent and determination, and they are sure to be a team to watch as the tournament progresses.

Infinite vs. GoJP

Spoiler
In a thrilling match, Infinite managed to secure a narrow victory over GoJP with a score of 16-13. The standout player of the match was undoubtedly Zeyden, whose impressive skills and ability to play at range proved instrumental in securing the win. However, GoJP's BlueWinx also deserves recognition for his clutch performance, winning a 1v3 situation on his flank and overall playing very good. Despite being underdogs in this match, GoJP nearly pulled off a stunning upset against one of the tournament favorites. It was an intense and closely contested battle, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination to come out on top. Additionally, this match has left many wondering about Infinite's current form and whether they can truly be considered tournament favorites. Meanwhile, questions remain about GoJP's future performance and how they will continue to develop throughout the competition. Only time will tell how both teams will fare as the tournament progresses.

RT vs. Impact

Spoiler
The matchup between Impact and The Round Table on March 8th was one filled with promise as both teams exhibited their skills in the initial rounds. Despite Impact's successful response to RT's first-round win, the team was unable to maintain their momentum against RT's dominance. Notably, Fietta, one of the current captains of the team, demonstrated impressive gameplay by securing four swift kills in the first two rounds, providing his team with a much-needed boost. However, the undisputed star of the match was sHype, who dominated the left flank throughout the game and dropped 27 kills. His outstanding performance was crucial to RT's resounding victory with 16-03 score.

NSS vs. Assassins

Spoiler
Unfortunately, there isn't much to report on regarding the NSS 16-00 Assassins Brotherhood match. Bodya's team failed to gather enough players to participate, resulting in a 5v6 match and a crushing defeat. We wish Assassins good luck in future matches and hope they can get their team back on track. However, we would like to highlight the outstanding performance of Mr_T from NSS, who contributed the most impact to the team despite the constant numerical advantage.

Animals vs. RF

Spoiler
The match between Animals and Royal Fusiliers was a swift one (16-03), with the latter demonstrating absolute dominance. The game lacked any prolonged rounds, close fights, or intrigue. In fact, it seemed like every kill made by the RF squad was met with approval by the Animals players, indicating the difference in skill level between the two teams. If Coco and his team had desired a different outcome, they could have fought harder to achieve it. Nonetheless, Tommy deserves special recognition for his exceptional performance, achieving a K/D/A ratio of 6.2 with 28 kills, 3 assists, and only 5 deaths.

Snappers vs. GVT

Spoiler
Snappers 16-04 GVT. Another dominant performance by the favorite team. Despite the experience of the Americans, unfortunately, high ping prevented them from fighting against such a high-level team. Nevertheless, the GVT had their moments, such as the first serious clutch of the tournament - Risk & Soulja won a 2v5 situation, allowing the team to win a round. Three players stood out for Snappers - Barro, Wursti, and Firefly, with the first, deservedly named the best player of the match.

Emoji vs. FrenchTouch

Spoiler
Emoji 16-00 FrenchTouch. A review of the match that promised to be interesting could have been written here. But unfortunately, Drake couldn't gather 6 people and refused to play 5v6, which makes it logical that the match ended with a score of 16-0 and default win for Emojis.

Top Performers of the First Round by NWMC

bunter_igel

One of the best German players of the last 5 years, dominated the match with outstanding stats in all areas despite his less active play in the past six months and intense competition in his team. He boasts the best K/D ratio of 6.5 and the highest K/D/A ratio of 7.5 (26 kills, 4 deaths, and 4 assists) among all tournament players in the first round.

Tommy

One of the strongest Greek players to ever play NW, helped the Animals team achieve a total domination victory. He has one of the highest K/D ratios of 5.6 (28 kills to 5 deaths), one of the highest K/D/A ratios of 6.2, just like his captain and teammate Coco_Ayala with 6.3 (12 kills, 3 deaths, and 7 assists), and the highest KPR score - 1.5 (28 kills for 18 rounds).

Zeyden

One of the strongest French players of all time and doesn't need any introduction. Despite the problems the team faced in the first match, Zeyden basically single-handedly led them to victory, dominating all of the opponent's players throughout the match. Zeyden had the highest number of kills in the first round - 33, and an additional 7 assists. With the score at 16-13, the team captain was also able to achieve a respectable K/D/A of 2.6, which is not easy in such a close match.

Plushka

Plushka is a player from the largest country in the world who has recently begun to improve his skills and abilities and continues to surprise those who underestimate him. Plushka greatly helped Renaissance dominate 13pp, having the highest amount of assists and APR score among all players - 0.7 (14 assists in 20 rounds, while also having 12 kills). So far, this is an absolute record among all players. The nearest player to Plushka in terms of APR is Fietta, whose score is almost half of Plushka's at 0.4.

NWMC Round 2 Review: Favourites Continue to Dominate, But Some Matches Deliver Insane Action

Renaissance vs. Infinite

Spoiler
The match between Infinite and Renaissance was a spectacle to behold, living up to expectations as one of the first 1-0 pool matches. Renaissance started off calmly, winning the first round without any losses and then managing to win the second round despite Infinite's first pick. However, Infinite, with Gibby and Chuckster performing exceptionally well, managed to rally and win three rounds in a row. Renaissance, thanks to Blitzkrieg's four kills, won the sixth round and tied the score. The teams then continued to exchange rounds, resulting in a tie at 4-4, until Renaissance managed to win a 4v6 situation, giving them the lead for the second time in the game. Flusha and Raime, who were left in a 2v2 situation against Zeyden and Fluxxy, managed to win another round for their team. Renaissance managed to gain control of a 3v5 situation in the 12th round, taking a two-round lead at 7-5. Infinite then made a small comeback, but both teams continued to exchange rounds until Zeyden won a 1v3 situation, securing a victory in a round that was made easier by Marquez's unfortunate team kill for Renaissance. There were many teamkills from both teams throughout the match, and although both teams tried to win rounds at any cost, they were not always successful. After Zeyden's clutch and one more round won by Renaissance, Zeyden's team took a three-round lead with a seemingly comfortable score of 13-10. However, thanks to incredible picks from Lebrun and good team play, [/img]Desant's team managed to come back and tie the score at 13-13. If you thought there were already enough clutches in this match, Infinite had a different opinion, winning a 4v6 situation and taking the lead once again. After a couple of unsuccessful rounds for both teams, with a score of 15-14 in favor of Renaissance, both teams exchanged kills, with Fluxxy, also known as Milo, and his teammates managing to force the game into additional rounds by winning a 3v3 situation, despite two team kills from Blitzkrieg. The intrigue did not diminish in the additional rounds, with Infinite winning the first round but then losing a 4v2 situation against Lebrun and Flusha. However, despite all of Renaissance's efforts, and even if one disregards the fact that they were initially the underdogs in this match, Infinite managed to regroup and win the game with a final score of 19-17. I would like to highlight Gibby and Lebrun separately. Both players played an incredible match and are key players in the success of their teams. Both players made 30 kills, with Lebrun having 5 assists and Gibby having 4. The K+A per round value for both players is almost exactly 1. The only difference between them that affected their overall rating was the amount of damage dealt and received. Gibby dealt 2389 damage and received 1699, while Lebrun dealt 2358 and received 1982. The match was memorable, and I believe it was one of the best matches many players have ever played. We wish both teams good luck in their future matches!

Emojis vs. Snappers

Spoiler
Emojis defeated Snappers 16-12 in another exciting match in a very close and challenging 1-0 pool. Emojis started the match incredibly strong, dominating the first few rounds with ease thanks to successful teamwork and individual player skills, allowing them to take a 5-0 lead without breaking a sweat. Snappers only managed to respond in the 6th round and the beginning of the 7th, which they should have won, but Zenon and Bird fought hard in a 6v3 situation, securing a victory and a 6-1 score in favor of Emojis. They won the next round with high morale, seemingly crushing Snappers' spirits at 7-1. However, Gi's team was never one to give up easily, so they regrouped and began to gain momentum round by round, giving up one for every three they won. Although they never managed to tie the score, they put immense pressure on Emojis with their perseverance. At the turning point of the match with a score of 10-9, thanks to an incredible performance by Wursti and team support, Emojis made a key substitution, bringing in Giorno, the current captain and key player, for Bird, who had already performed very well in his first serious match between the teams. Initially, the substitution didn't have much impact as the teams exchanged rounds, and Emojis even lost a 5v3 situation, allowing Snappers to win the 11th round and regain a one-round lead. However, with Giorno on the battlefield, Emojis played differently and managed to snatch victory by conceding only the 12th round, which Snappers deserved. Among the players, Quenouille stood out, scoring a very good K/D/A of 1.7 and playing the entire match at an exceptionally high level.

RT vs. NSS

Spoiler
The Round Table 16-07 NSS third match in 1-0 pool, the game wasn't as exciting and thrilling as the others, despite 45thN's incredible win against 15thYR in RGL (Regimental Groupfighting League). The match started off calmly, with Achilles and his team making simple first picks and dominating for four rounds in a row. Then, NSS had a moment and thanks to Darki and Ilypa's picks on mid and flank, they won the first round for themselves, making the score 4-1 not in their favor. The next round could have been a win for NSS as well, thanks to their captain and Spanish national team player - Maskman, an English-Spanish Asian who almost won a 1v3 situation against Narrow, Smallest, and sHype, but he didn't block sHype's stab in time and died, giving the fifth round to their opponents. But it was a really good attempt. In the subsequent round, thanks to the first pick from Nedim and again Darki, and thanks to a teamkill from Smallest, the team managed to win the second for themselves, making the score 5-2 and starting a small comeback. After losing the next round, they managed to tie the match at 7-7 due to RT's unsuccessful play, particularly due to teamkills and really quality clutch plays of 3v5 and 4v6. But after that, no matter how hard 45thN players from NSS tried, they couldn't make anything work. Once Jakob joined the game, NSS stopped even hoping to win a round. Complete destruction on all fronts, Jakob scored 1.6 K+A per round in the 10 rounds played. At the same time, The Round Table had two players who were completely dominating their positions, Achilles with an insane K/D/A of 3.6 and sHype, who had 19 kills and 9 assists in 23 rounds.

Titans vs. Animals

Spoiler
Titans beat Animals 16-11 in the fourth match of the 1-0 pool, which promised to be very interesting and exciting, and it certainly lived up to expectations. The game started off briskly, with Titans easily winning the first round. However, Animals, led by Kennedy who made two quick kills on his flank, won the second round, tying the score 1-1. Despite Kennedy's good start, Titans pulled ahead and with the help of the incredible German duo, bunter_igel and Blacktham, they took a 4-1 lead. In the sixth round, the French captain, Coco_Ayala, got two amazing kills in the first 10 seconds of the round, allowing their team to win their second round. But this did not upset the Titans too much, thanks to the German stars and Shadey and Golden, they were able to gain more momentum and win a lot of good rounds, leading 11-4 and winning the 11th round of the game in a 4v6 situation. It seemed like the game was already over, but Animals started a small comeback, even winning several rounds while being outnumbered. With Coco, Kennedy, Flo and Muha showing great synergy and individual skills, they were able to cut Titans' lead to 12-10. Titans stumbled a bit, losing the 23rd round of the game, but then they regained their footing and won the 24th. At 13-11, Muha was left in a 1v2 situation and killed Rune but wasn’t fast enough to rechamber Movement’s stab and died. This was the crucial round that could have allowed Animals to fight for victory and make Titans nervous. Unfortunately, Animals' lack of clutch plays and the fact that they didn't win enough rounds at the beginning of the game meant that they lost and are now relegated to the 1-1 pool. Meanwhile, Titans will try to advance to the playoff stage of first league and compete against the best of the best next 4-days. It's worth noting the incredible performance by the best German players of recent years - Blacktham and bunter_igel. Despite a tough match, both players had double the K/D and K/D/A ratio. Igel continues to carry every game he plays for Titans, making a strong case for being the best player of the group stage.

FT vs. GVT

Spoiler
FrenchTouch 16-06 GVT: Fierce Start, Dominant Finish. In a high-energy match, the Americans made Drake's team work hard to secure a few rounds at the beginning. However, as the match progressed, GVT appeared increasingly vulnerable and disoriented due to their high ping. Without any difficulty, FT managed to shut down their opponents, leaving them no chance to turn the tide. According to the NWMC team, Ingram was the best player of the match, performing an incredible amount of work by picking off and destroying his mid, while also providing support to the right flank to finish the rounds. The second, but no less important player, was Ratsu, who, with the help of the Frenchman, destroyed the right flank and did not give the opposing team a single chance to get back into the game.

45e vs. RF

Spoiler
Royal Fusiliers edge out 45e in a nail-biting individual showdown. In a battle of individual skill, Royal Fusiliers and 45e went head-to-head in a grueling match that saw both teams exchanging rounds back and forth, never allowing the other to pull ahead by a significant margin. The match lacked coordinated team plays, strategic swaps, or any signs of group synergy, but was instead dominated by the players' individual abilities and their ability to capitalize on their opponent's mistakes. Faisan of 45e put on an outstanding performance, racking up an incredible 36 kills and 8 assists while only dying 15 times over 28 rounds. Skitty, the captain of Royal Fusiliers, also had an impressive showing, leading his team with 31 kills and 10 assists, and pulling off a spectacular 1v3 clutch. Jack also contributed significantly to the win. Despite the fierce competition, RF emerged victorious with a final score of 16-13. Both teams put up a great fight and showed incredible skill, and we wish them luck in their future matches.

Impact vs. Assassins

Spoiler
Assassins Brotherhood won 16-02 against Impact. Unfortunately, we couldn't witness a truly amazing and promising match because Impact couldn't gather 6 players and only brought 4. According to the tournament rules, matches cannot be played with less than 5 people in the arena, but since the Assassins captain agreed to it, I allowed it. Overall, the match was quite fast, and despite the complete domination by the CIS team, some rounds were really close. The standout player of the match was pro100pro, who made 16 kills and 7 assists in 18 rounds. I hope both teams will not have such problems in the future and continue to play the tournament with a full lineup.

GoJP vs. 13pp

Spoiler
Guardians of Japan vs. 13pp on 16-02. The last match from 0-1 pool ended in an unconditional and very quick victory for GoJP. There were no long rounds, no clutch plays, just complete domination from the Spooky's team. It's worth highlighting Dundi, who simply destroyed the Polish team without any problems, dropping 22 kills and 5 assists in just 18 rounds with only 5 deaths, giving him a K/D ratio of over 4.

Top Performers of the Second Round by NWMC

Godfreid

Godfreid, one of the best players in North America, has once again proved to everyone that despite his high ping, Americans can still play at a high level. Despite his team losing with a devastating score, Godfreid managed to make 16 kills and 1 assist with his ping of around 130, which allowed him to achieve a K/D ratio of 1.0. For comparison, the next best player on his team, Mikey, has a K/D of 0.5. The Canadian has the highest rating among all players who have lost their games with such a lopsided score in the last two matches.

Achilles

The Swede, once again showed an incredible game, but while in the previous match, his team could have done without him, in the second matchweek Achilles became a key player in their victory. He scored 25 kills and 5 assists in 23 rounds, dying only 8 times. The Swede turned out to be the best player from the 1-0 pool in almost all parameters, including K/D/A - 3.75, K+A per round - 1.3 (the same as only his teammate sHype) and DPR (damage per round) - 93.4.

Faisan

The French player, helped 45e team win 13 rounds against RF. He showed an incredible game, getting 36 kills and 8 assists in just 29 rounds, while dying only 15 times - even less than the number of rounds his team lost. This player has one of the highest K+A per round ratios at 1.5 and the highest KPR of all players at 1.24. Despite losing the match 16-13, Faisan managed an impressive K/D/A ratio of 2.9 and the highest DPR (damage per round) out of all players, who played at least 10 rounds - 110.3. We wish the French player good luck in future matches and hope his teammates from 45e can come out on top in the near future.

Spooky

Spooky, the last player among all the ones mentioned, delivered one of the best performances in terms of average statistics among all players in the last two weeks, despite his team's complete domination in the match. Spooky scored 13 kills and 7 assists while dying only 3 times. He has the highest K/D/A rating among all players - 6.6, the highest APR - 0.58, the lowest number of deaths per round, the highest K+A per round, and the highest DMG per kill.

NWMC Round 3 Review: Favourites Face Tough Challenge

RT vs. Titans

Spoiler
The Round Table 16-12 Titans. One of the most anticipated matches of this tournament. The match began with small exchanges in favor of Titans, Movement's team managed to take a 4-2 lead within the first 3 minutes of the game. After that, RT, despite losing the start, managed to equalize the score at 4-4. In the next two rounds, Titans won again, but RT responded by winning two rounds themselves, not allowing their opponents to pull away. With a score of 7-6, The Round Table managed to pull ahead by two rounds, thanks to a 3v5 clutch, and then won another, giving them a three-round lead over their opponents. All this was thanks to an incredible performance from Jakob, who had 15 kills and 9 deaths at 9-6. Afterward, the teams continued to exchange rounds, with RT's other players stepping up and Titans' Golden and the legendary German duo playing very well. Movement was lucky to invite these players to their project; otherwise, we might have seen a completely different performance from Titans throughout the tournament. Overall, despite attempts at clutches and some close rounds, the match was rather lackluster in terms of quality. Both teams lost a huge number of rounds despite having advantages, and there were also many teamkills on both sides. In the end, the round exchanges did not lead to anything good for Titans, as they were unable to pull ahead or even equalize the score. Instead, they played slightly worse, allowing RT to win with a 4-round difference. The only player I would like to mention is DOMI, my favorite Englishman, who returned to help his team and immediately had the best performance among all his teammates in the most important match, with a K/D/A of 1.8. As for players who disappointed most, it was probably sHype, who had been playing at a very high level throughout the tournament against lower-level opponents but couldn't show himself at all in this match, dying first many times and giving entry picks to Titans' players.

As a result of this match, The Round Table advances to the playoffs with a score of 3-0, following Infinite, while Titans will continue to fight in the 2-1 pool. We wish both teams good luck in their future matches!

Emojis vs. Infinite

Spoiler
Infinite 16-12 Emojis. The second and final match in the 2-0 pool, was also one of the most anticipated and exciting matches of the week. The match started very energetically for three players, the first two being Quenouille and HiReaper, where the French player won the first round for his team with a triple-kill. In the second round, they both achieved triple-kills, tying the score at 2-2. In the following two rounds, where they won their flank and participated in the complete destruction of the opponent's team, they took the lead at 4-2. The third player who stood out at the beginning of the match was Zeyden - the captain of Infinite, who made very important first-picks in the rounds they won and played very well in close fights in situations like 5v5, 4v4, 3v3. After the score of 4-2, we could observe a tactical collapse from both teams. Infinite, being in the minority, closed themselves in a corner, which is a fairly common tactic in groupfights. However, if you close yourself in a corner, you should have a more structured arc, not what Infinite showed. In any tournament, during important rounds, a team that tries to take a corner and just presses against the wall is a team that loses the round in 90% of cases. But unfortunately or fortunately for Infinite, Emojis seemed shocked at how poorly Zeyden's team closed themselves in the corner, or I just can't simply explain how being in the majority in such situations you can lose the round, but Zenon's team managed to do it several times during the game, which for sure raises questions about their leadership. Despite tactical mistakes from both teams, they continued to exchange rounds, allowing Emojis to maintain a two-round lead. At a score of 6-4, Infinite repeated their round, simply closing themselves off in the corner, but once again, this did not prevent Emojis from crashing into this corner. The next round was won thanks to very strong pressure from Zeyden & Chuckster's flank and a wonderful entry pick from Red. At a score of 6-6, Emojis were able to destroy the opponent's middle, which should have led to an unconditional victory in the round, but Infinite repeated their "signature" round, this time poorly clamping themselves in the corner again, and went ahead for the second time in the game, now at 7-6, winning the 4v6 situation in which Gibby gave a triple-kill. After this, there was a series of very successful and well-played rounds from Infinite, and they were able to take a 9-6 lead. The teams continued to exchange rounds, and Emojis never managed to tie the score or simply reduce the difference in rounds. Even despite the 4v6 from Zenon's team at 15-10 score, and 2v6 by Zenon and Giorno at 15-11, with Giorno securing 5 kills during the round, Infinite still managed to hold the lead and win the game 16-12. Of all the players, it is worth highlighting Gibby separately, who for the second game in a row for Infinite, delivers excellent performance and is a key player in his team's victory. In 28 rounds against such a strong opponent, the Englishman did 33 kills and 5 assists, dying only 14 times and achieving a K/D/A of 2.7. Such a number in such a close and difficult match looks very impressive. At the end of this match, Infinite advances to the playoffs with a score of 3-0, joining RT. Emojis, on the other hand, drop to the 2-1 pool and will continue to compete for a slot in the first league.

Animals vs. GoJP

Spoiler

Animals 16-03 GoJP. The match between Animals and GoJP was lackluster, with GoJP failing to put up a fight despite both teams making numerous errors. Animals dominated from the start and didn't allow Spooky's team a chance to catch their breath. GoJP seemed out of their element and couldn't respond effectively, displaying a lack of preparedness and an appalling number of teamkills. There were no standout moments, no clutches, and no incredible performances to speak of. The only notable player was Flo, who took advantage of the opponent's ineffectiveness to secure 22 kills and 3 assists, while dying only 5 times in 19 rounds, resulting in a K/D/A of 5.0. Coco's team rises to the 2-1 pool, while GoJP will fight for survival in the 1-2 pool. Best of luck to both teams!

Renaissance vs. RF

Spoiler
Renaissance defeated Royal Fusiliers 16-04 in a match similar to the one described earlier in the 1-1 pool, with nothing particularly noteworthy happening and complete domination from the favorite. Unfortunately, RF was unable to show the level of play that some players may have expected from them after their successful performance in the 0-1 pool against 45e. Desant's team continues to handle lower-level teams with ease and will continue to fight for a spot in the first league playoffs in the 2-1 pool. Among the players, Lebrun deserves special mention, as he has been the team's best player for three consecutive matches. The Frenchman made 23 kills and 5 assists, dying only 6 times in 20 rounds. He had the second-highest K/D/A in this matchweek among all players - 4.6. We wish both teams good luck in the subsequent rounds and hope that they will be able to show a worthy game!

Snappers vs. Assassins

Spoiler
Snappers defeated Assassins Brotherhood with a score of 16-08 in the 1-1 pool. The match was won without any major difficulties by the clear favorite team. Despite the number of rounds won by Assassins, the match was quite boring, and there were no doubts about who would win throughout the game. Wursti from Snappers stood out with 29 kills and 8 assists in 24 rounds, dying only 12 times. He earned one of the highest KPR - 1.2 and K+A per round - 1.5 among all players in this matchweek. On the side of Assassins, surprisingly, the captain of the team, Bodya, played the best with a K/D/A of 1. Snappers will continue to fight for a spot in the first league in the 2-1 pool, while Assassins will fight for survival in the 1-2 pool.

NSS vs. FT

Spoiler
NSS and FrenchTouch faced off in what was considered the most anticipated match of the 1-1 pool. The match lived up to its expectations, at least until the middle of the game. Both teams fought closely, and despite FT being underdogs, at one point it seemed like they could win the match and had a chance to do so. Unfortunately, the match was not recorded for a detailed review and analysis of the rounds. However, based on feedback from the referee, it can be added that the match was very ambiguous until the middle of the game, with many 2v2, 3v3 situations, and clutch rounds. At the midpoint of the game, NSS turned it up a notch while FT, on the other hand, seemed to have turned off, which worked in favor of Maskman's team. They won the match without any problems with a lead of 9 rounds. It is worth noting an incredible 1v4 clutch from Maskman when the score was 15-09 and Janne's incredible performance, who was added to the lineup an hour before the match instead of Aras. Janne showed a fantastic game that allowed NSS to win the match. The Finnish player achieved a K/D of 2.0 and K/D/A of 2.3.

In the end, NSS will continue to fight for promotion to the first league in the 2-1 pool, while Drake's team drops back to weaker teams in the 1-2 pool.

13pp vs. 45e

Spoiler
13pp 16-14 45e. It was a very close survival match with the hope of making it to the first league. Both teams showed confident and not-so-confident play from the beginning. At the start of the match, 45e took the lead with a score of 4-2, which was well-deserved even with a 6v5 round. However, the Poles woke up and started to destroy their opponent, thanks to incredible play by WojtasPL and team captain browarx. The Polish team managed to take 7 rounds in a row without any problems or clutches, allowing them to take a 9-4 lead. After that, the game returned to a back-and-forth exchange of rounds, with 45e's Faisan and Dayboul stepping up. With a score of 11-8 in favor of 13pp, WojtasPL and Sveetovsky pulled off a very good 2v4 clutch, allowing their team to take the 12th round. After that, there were a couple more exchanges, leading to a final score of 14-9 in favor of 13pp. From that point on, the most interesting part of the match began. The French team won three rounds in a row, closing the gap with their opponents, and it seemed like they might even make the score 14-13. But then WojtasPL, who had been playing unbelievably well, appeared again and won a very important 1v2 clutch, taking his team to match point. The French managed to win two more rounds after that, but it wasn't enough. In the last round, with a score of 15-14, Wojtas made the first pick against Faisan and essentially ended the match with a victory for his team. It's worth noting Wojtas' incredible statistics for this match: 38 kills and 11 assists in 30 rounds, one of the best performances of the entire tournament. We wish 13pp good luck in the 1-2 pool and 45e as the first team to drop to the playoffs of the second league.

Impact vs. GVT

Spoiler
Impact 16-09 GVT. In a match that could best be described as a matchmaking game, Impact easily started plowing their counterparts in GVT with a substantially higher ping, which GVT initially did not have a response to and therefor were 5-0 after 5 rounds that lasted mere seconds, none of which were even close. GVT made a small comeback at 5-0 to 5-2, getting their lines stabilized and temporarily catching up to the pace at which Impact were playing, but it was not to last. Impact returned stronger after a quick 5-second breather before the round started and began dominating again, this time going up 13-02 before GVT were able to recover. Mikey from GVT had during these rounds a handful of nice holds in 1v2's, which his teammates were unable to capitalize on every occasion. After this, GVT began a miraculous and unexpected comeback, winning 5 consecutive rounds, out of which 3 were utter domination and the other two were rounds that could've gone either way. At 13-07 Impact made a one-round halt to, what can be best described as the North American invasion of Europe, but it got countered by additional two rounds by the Americans. At this point, Impact took a quick pause to gather what was happening, as they went from dominating 13-02 to being 14-09. After this, Impact returned once again, stronger than before, and finished the last two rounds with style, not even giving the Americans a chance to make the rounds close. Overall, once the hype for the comeback had started the match was enjoyable, but the last two and the early rounds were just a slaughter tbh.

MVP: Pizza, very stellar performance wrapping up a total 24 kills to 16 deaths. Props also to Mikey from GVT, being the factor behind many of the early round picks that enabled them to win so many rounds during their brief comeback and holding several 1v2s.

Top Performers of the Third Round by NWMC

WojtasPL

The 13pp player displayed an incredible performance and was undoubtedly the key player in the victory against the 45e team. The Pole achieved the highest number of kills among all players in all NWMC matches, breaking Faisan's record and setting a new one with 38 kills in a single match, without additional rounds. In addition to this impressive number of kills, Wojtas also contributed with 11 assists. He was the best player in the match with a KPR of 1.26, K+A per round of 1.63, and, of course, DPR (damage per round) of 122.2.

Flo

The French player demonstrated another impressive match, despite his team's strong domination. Flo played consistently from the beginning to the end, making very few mistakes. This allowed him to achieve the highest K/D and K/D/A among all players in this matchweek - 4.4 and 5.0, respectively. Flo also has one of the lowest DPR (deaths per round) statistics - 0.26 - among all players who have played at least 50% of the rounds in their matches.

Wursti

The player from the German national team caused nightmares for the opposing team throughout the entire match. Although Wursti did not break any records or achieve maximum statistical indicators, he still emerged as a leader in many of them. He did 29 kills in 24 rounds, which allowed him to achieve one of the highest KPR of the match - 1.20. He also had 8 assists, which gave him one of the best APR among all players who played more than 20 rounds - 0.33, and 1.54 K+A per round.

Gibby

Gibby played an outstanding match, becoming the key player for his team against one of the favorites of the tournament - Emojis. Despite the close score and the level of the opponent, the Englishman managed to make 33 kills and 5 assists in 28 rounds, while dying only 14 times. For comparison, the next player on the scoreboard from the Infinite team, Zeyden, had 8 kills and 2 assists less. Gibby was the only tier 1 player from the "big four" to achieve a K/D/A of 2.7 in this matchweek.

NWMC Round 4 Review: Nail-biting Matches Leave Players on the Edge of Their Seats

Emojis vs. NSS

Spoiler
Emojis and NSS competed in a highly anticipated match in a strong 2-1 pool. The first round began with two quick picks by Trexons, but NSS managed to turn the round around thanks to three kills by Maskman, taking a 4v6 situation and immediately taking the lead. Emojis managed to tie the score at 1-1, but NSS continued to surprise and win round after round, mainly due to their captain's excellent play, taking the lead at 5-1. In the next round, Zenon's team answered with a win, but NSS won two more, making the score almost impossible for a comeback at 7-2. Then, the most interesting and probably crucial moment of the match happened when Twister entered the game. The Ukrainian player didn't bring many kills or incredible plays, but I think he brought stability, which Emojis lacked. Emojis won three rounds in a row, then lost two but continued to win and catch up with their opponent. At the score of 9-5 for NSS, Emojis won a very important 4v6 situation. After this clutch, NSS managed to answer with one round, but they started to lose ground, especially during rotations. In the end, Emojis managed to tie the score at 10-10. The teams continued to exchange rounds, and with a score of 12-11 in favor of NSS, Emojis pulled together and showed the game that was expected of them from the beginning, winning five rounds in a row and taking the match with a score of 16-12. The match was very fast despite the number of rounds. There were very few clutches, and they were not very significant and also very fast. Players who stood out were Emoji's captain and Poland's national team's best player, Zenon, who once again showed a pretty good game and despite the problems at the beginning, dropped 29 kills and 6 assists for 28 rounds, which made him get solid K/D/A 2.18. Emojis is going into playoffs with a score of 3-1 and NSS will continue fighting in the last round of the group stage.

Titans vs. Renaissance

Spoiler
Titans 19-15 Renaissance. The second match in the 2-1 pool, which like the others promised to be very interesting. The match started very quickly, with Titans making quick peaks and winning the first round. Despite this, Renaissance managed to level the score by winning a 4v6 clutch. Even with that clutch, the Movement team did not get discouraged and continued to push and dominate, just like in the first round, taking a 4-1 lead. Renaissance made a couple of changes to their lineup and were able to respond by winning two rounds in a row. With the score at 4-3, bunter_igel found himself in a 3v5 situation, and then in a 2v4 situation, but managed to win a crazy clutch against Vegi, killing 5 players in the round and taking the lead 5-3, which also allowed them to win the next round. After that, Renaissance continued to give away the first peaks, but despite being at a disadvantage, thanks to good teamwork and MarxeiL, who made 3 kills in a round, they managed to close the gap to 6-4 and come a little closer to their opponent. The next round was no less interesting, with Flusha & MarxeiL left in a 2v6 situation, but managed to bring it to a 1v3, which led to a 1v1 situation between MarxeiL and Golden, which the Irish player was lucky enough to win, allowing them to take the lead again with a three-round advantage. Titans won the following round as well, increasing their lead. Then the teams exchanged rounds and Renaissance started their small comeback, which eventually allowed them to tie the score, and through another round, take the lead with a score of 10-9. After a couple of exchanges, Titans once again took the lead, but not for long. With the score at 12-11 in favor of Titans, Flusha & Desant won a 2v4 situation, in which Flusha made 4 kills and helped tie the score for their team. Throughout the subsequent rounds, the teams continued to exchange advantages, but no one had an advantage for more than one round. In the end, after the main rounds, the match ended with a score of 15-15, and for the second time in the whole tournament, we saw a game in overtime, and again with Renaissance involved. In overtime, everything was decided fairly quickly, with individual mistakes from the Desant's team preventing them from winning even one round, basically handing the victory to Titans with a score of 19-15. Movement's team became another team to advance to the tournament playoffs with a score of 3-1, while Renaissance will continue to fight in the 2-2 pool for survival.

Snappers vs. Animals

Spoiler
A closely contested match, the first half of the match began with even trading of rounds up and down between the two sides, before Snappers with the help of an excellent mid-match performance by Wursti were able to take the initiative and take a 5 round lead to making it 8-13. However, bolstered by a resurgent Flo making some extremely valuable picks and shutting down the Snappers flank, Animals clawed their way back to 13-13. In the end, however, after another set of traded rounds Snappers, again with the help of some impactful picks by Wursti were able to overwhelm Animals and take match home.

FrenchTouch vs. RF

Spoiler
Not much to say, it was a stomping from start to finish with RF occasionally getting a round or two because of the excessive teamkills from FT. Fralla and Drake farming RF with stats of 23-6 and 24-6 respectively. Props to Stockholm for going 1-6 in the 10 or so rounds he played. None of the RF went positive KD during any part of the match, they were simply outclassed on every level, individual and teamwise, by their counterparts in FrenchTouch.

Impact vs. GoJP

Spoiler
Impact won 16-13 against GoJP in one of the most interesting matches of the 1-2 pool, as both teams were of similar skill level. The match started off very well for Impact, winning the first round despite being at a disadvantage due to an opponent's kill. They were also able to win the second round in a 4v6 situation. After that, GoJP won a round, equalizing the score. However, this did not stop Impact. The team became even more serious and won two rounds in a row, including one in a 2v4 situation, bringing the score to 3-1. From then on, the teams continued to trade rounds until the very end, proving that they were evenly matched. In the end, with the score tied at 13-13, Impact stepped up and won three rounds in a row, clinching the match 16-13. Following the match, Impact will continue to fight for the opportunity to advance to League 1, while GoJP will fall to League 2 with a score of 1-3.

M.Tournaments Board / NWMC | Teams & Free Agents
« on: February 22, 2023, 07:25:45 pm »

This thread is dedicated to the official team list for the tournament. Here, you will find the names of all the teams that have been accepted to compete in the championship, as well as information on their members.

Please make sure you use the following template when updating rosters.

Free Agents
If you are a free agent, you can post your information in the Sign-ups thread, where teams looking for additional players can browse through the list and potentially recruit you. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with other players and join a team for the tournament.

Being a free agent can be an advantage, as it allows you to choose a team that you feel would be the best fit for your playstyle and personality. However, it is essential to keep in mind that teams may have specific requirements and preferences when it comes to selecting new members.

Swiss System Explanation
Spoiler
In a Swiss system tournament with 16 teams, each team will play up to three games in the group stage, but to qualify for the upper league playoffs, a team must win at least three matches. This could be achieved with a record of 3 wins and 0 losses, 3 wins and 1 loss, or 3 wins and 2 losses, depending on the outcomes of the team's matches.

The initial pairings will be determined randomly for the first round, and then teams will be paired against opponents with the same or similar records in subsequent rounds. This helps to ensure that teams are matched against opponents of similar skill levels throughout the event.

After the group stage, the top eight teams with the best records (including at least 3 wins) will advance to the upper league playoffs, while the bottom eight teams will play in the lower league playoffs. In the playoffs, teams will be matched against opponents with the same or similar records, based on their performance in the group stage. The group stage results will be used to determine the matchups in the playoffs to ensure fair and balanced competition.

The Swiss system is designed to provide a balanced and fair tournament experience, ensuring that teams are matched against opponents of similar skill levels throughout the event. This helps to prevent any one team from having an unfair advantage or disadvantage due to the luck of the draw.

1. General Rules

1.1 | Be a good sportsman.
1.2 | Players must be respectful to each other, and the tournament administration both on the NWMC sub-board and servers.
1.3 | Players should respect both the letter and the spirit of the rules. Common sense should always be applied, regardless of the situation.
1.4 | It is strictly prohibited to gain an advantage by using cheats such as autoblock and naatsuu glitching
1.4.1 | Aesthetic texture modifications are allowed

2. Captain Rules

2.1 | Do not allow any players that are not on your roster to participate in your official NWMC matches. (Both the player and the team involved will face penalties or disqualification)
2.2 | Every captain must join the NWMC Steam Chat

3. Sign-ups Rules

3.1 | If a player is found to have switched teams or played for another team, the participant will be permanently banned from the tournament
3.2 | Team changes are not allowed, whatever team you signed up for/played for, is the only team you may play for.
3.3 | If any teams are found to be possessing players that do not meet the criteria stated in 3.1, OR players that are NOT on the team roster, the team will suffer an immediate loss for that match, and a -2 start for all following matches.

4. Roster Rules

4.1 | Minimum number of members in a roster is 6.
4.2 | Maximum number of members in a roster is 9.
4.3 | Roster Changes are only permitted and valid up to 1 hour before a match is due to start.
4.4 | If a player has not played a game yet they can be replaced with no penalty. You can replace up to 3 players during the tournament who have played a match.

5. Match Rules

5.1 | The matches in this tournament will be played in a Best of 30 format, which means that the first team to reach 16 rounds without the need for additional rounds will be declared the winner. This format ensures that matches are played quickly and efficiently, while still providing teams with ample opportunity to stage a comeback if they fall behind early on. It's important for teams to stay focused and maintain a high level of play throughout the entire match, as the outcome can be determined quickly in this format.
5.2 | If the match ends with a tied score of 15-15, the teams will be required to play an additional set of Best of 6 rounds. The first team to win 4 rounds in the set will be declared the winner of the match. The number of additional sets is unlimited, and in the case of an 18-18 score, another set of Best of 6 rounds will be added. This ensures that the match will have a clear winner, even in the case of a tie. It's important for teams to be aware of this rule and to prepare accordingly for the possibility of additional rounds.
   5.2.1 | In case of a BO3, the first team with 2 Match wins (2-0 / 2-1) wins.
5.3 | No trolling or delaying, it wastes both the team's time and the staff present.
5.4 | Line infantry only. No Foot Guards, Marines, Medics, Grenadiers, or Militia. Only Infantry muskets are to be used. No Shooting.
5.5 | Upon entering the arena, the 6 participants from both teams must be behind the white line before the referee starts the round.
5.6 | Teams must arrive at their matches on time. If a team is more than 15 minutes late on the server, the opposing team will be given a default win.
5.6.1 | However, if a team can't field the minimum amount of players they can decide to play with less with 4 players being the minimum
5.6.1.1 | The enemy does not have to balance in that case
5.7 | Refusing to schedule with another captain is in breach of the behavior rules and will result in a forfeit with the win being awarded to the team that tried to make contact in order to schedule the match

All rules stated above are subject to change.
