Was hoping that the new battlefront would give us an epic badass modern version of this

I am slightly disappointed, because I like battlefront for the scale of the fights, what we got with EA's battlefront a 20 on 20?! I feel like they can do better but who knows, we'll see how the game turns out!

I like the idea of voice chat, adds a massive team play element to the game and I think it'll make it all around more immersive and fun. I mean, imagine CSGO without voice chat, its like da same thing with battle crah o' freedem!

Personally, I'll be holding out until bannerlord. Then I'll be putting up my musket, grabbing a big-ass Irish-style sword and shield and killing me some weak ass non-celts.
Yeah! Now we're talking! Anyways Dom is kinda right, of course Europeans aren't finding the time period interesting, the history isn't local to them. On the other hand, myself who is Merican finds the Civil war pretty damn epic! I think a perfect time period would be the American Revolution, you got Europeans, and Mericans!

We had a siege today!? Dang, I missed it. How did it go?

Anyways, my intention was not to show off, but rather to bring the topic back on track.
So another question: what units are you thinking on adding for the brits and americans?

For the Americans, I would love to see some Militia, the Continental Army, and maybe even some Minutemen. As for the brits, well what else would you need other than redcoats, AMIRITE!?

Seige tonight, shall be a blast.

Which I sadly cannot attend. Good luck lads, and give 'em bloody hell!

Yeah, true. I just realized, what if we try a more defensive strategy some time? Like we act sort of like pseudo skirms, just staying back and firing. We pick off some lads, then charge into melee when we feel we can destroy them. Because then, when you finally get into melee, we will hopefully outnumber them by a few, and in melee, numbers help quite alot. Although i feel alot can go wrong with this tactic, because you kinda seperate yourself from your allies, leaving you wide open for an ambush.

Linebattle tonight, LETS GET EM LADS!

I would love to see historical maps, Like a Bunker hill map, or a Lexington and Concord. I could imagine them being pretty boss.

Will the Continental army have a 'Militia' class? Or a 'Minuteman' class? I think that would be awesome.

General Discussion / Re: Fun events with your own regiment

TDM/Battle, all people in your regiment vs higher amount of bots. Fun for a while, but could get a bit old.

Well put hugo, I believe Battlefield 2 had something like this. Where one player would be the grand commander, who controlled everything. I think it would be awesome if each regiment had some sort of skill sets, like the rock-paper-scissors system where a regiment would counter another regiment, but get brutally murdered by yet another. And then be able to take matters into your own hands by being able to take control of any of the ground units! Maybe some day, we will get a game like this!
