Yes, I'd probably expect a BETA or Alpha this early, but I'd expect a release sometime in 2016..

Updates.

Quote
-Motion-capture technology is being used.
-Multi-level battle maps (for example there is a dungeon under a village.)
-Team of 70 people are developing the game.
-Single-player map is 4 times bigger than Warband.
-Dynamic seasons
-Player and NPC's can have kids. Player can play as his/her kids when retired/died.
-Presumably there is some sort of ageing system if kids are playable characters
-NPC's can recruit companions.
-Climbable ladders.
-Maps in game are layered; and you can find dungeons in basement of the buildings and you can use the roofs as well.
-Atmosphere is much more detailed, they said it somewhat resembles the detail level and ambience of pre-release Witcher 3 videos.
-Weapon swings and usage feels much more real than the previous games, animations are motion captured.
-Women and men have different and realistic body types, and you can choose different body types for characters.
-There will be a new graphics engine specifically coded for this game.
-Transition between seasons will be much quicker, and seasonal changes will be reflected in the battlefield and town maps.
-Optimisation hasn't started yet.
- All companions and important characters have voice acting. (Not all NPC's because there are many of them.)
- Different cultures have different accents.
- They are unsure about lord's children replacing them when they die.
- You can play 12 different board games at inns. All of them are imitations of historical real-word board games.
- You can find bards at inns.
- Towns are going to be a lot more lively.
- Rather than scripts, essential NPC's have various behaviors(?). Every time you enter this town you will find it different. (Random events? Maybe a lord with paranoid trait beheads all woodsman thus making wood extinct? It's good to imagine...)
- Weapons react different to different surfaces. While an arrow get stuck in wood, it can bounce off a rock.
- Warband will be out for PS 4 and Xbox One. PlayStation version is currently playable. They are trying to maintain 60 fps in 100 vs 100 battles. No release date yet.
- Developers seem to know what they're doing. Game will be released when they think it is finished.
- Don't forget game is still in development these can change.

Yes, these are a list of things that *might* be in the game. Onto the topic of consoles: personally, I think it's a good thing because they might make more money from it to make it into a better game, more people will know about the game and I'll be able to play it on the PS4. What do you think?

Here are some snapshots of the console version (very large, you have been warned):

Seems like some docks of a village...

The sheer idea of Bannerlord being made for consoles, quite frankly, is frightening. At least the multiplayer aspect.

Hello.. I have a problem... It says I don't have Mount&Blade Warband: Napoleonic War and I have to buy it
Try joining a regular Napoleonic Wars server and then re-running the installer.

PC has it good sides and bad ones, same with consoles. Its a personal opinion wether someone likes Consoles better or PC. But all this crap about PC masterrace is making me sick.

Just dont take it serious  ;)

But when a console guy says that pc gaming has nothing to do with gaming.
I really think some of them must be really dumb.

I personally love playing on every console and pc as long  I have fun.

PCMR is more like a fancult for the "small" PC community.

I would buy banterlord for both PC and Xbox

PC Masterrace is really just a joke that some people decided to take seriously. Sadly it happens both ways, there's a lot of console gamers that still believe PC gaming is nothing but Farmville and Minecraft.

Personally I think it is undeniable that PC offers more than Consoles, but I can accept people prefering consoles based on personal preferences. To each his own.
