I don't know whom do you mean under "Nassauers".
I have heard mention that the Duchy of Nassau sent a contingent of men to fight alongside the allied armies. As I have said, I am not sure if they actually sent troops or whether it was just monetary or even 'moral' support. If I come up with anything I will let you know.
EDIT: It would appear that we raised a German legion (not to be confused with the King's German Legion of the Napoleonic Wars) to fight in the Crimea, but they didn't really see any action and most of them settled in South Africa after the war ended. I expect quite a few came from Nassau which is why some sources reference Nassau as being a combatant in the war whereas in reality it was a legion of mercenaries from across the German Confederation.
As far as I know, main fights were between Russians and French and on second place with British (French complained often about British slownes, as it was at Alma or first assault on Sevastopol). Turkish troops were in rear all the time and after they ran at Balaclava, left to Russians guns and redoubts, it was made a desision to use them only as workers in trenches and in rear again, so they can't run anymore (I've read it in "Letters from Headquarters"). Sardinians were in Crimea in late period of war and thy only "sang songs", as said to me one of actually Sardinian reenactors on Alma field. They also were in rear and almoust all there casualties were from disease, only Bersaglieri were in battle at Black River, but that's all Sardinian involvement in battles, I guess (and one Sardinian officer was killed, joining The Charge of the Light Brigade). There were also some Austrian officers as supervisors and there were also many others, but I will make only main sides, which are Russia, France and Britain (with 1-2 Turkish regiments for Alma, Balaclava and assault on Eupatoria, maybe Sardinian Bersaglieri for battle at Black River and maybe Greek Legion for assualt on Eupatoria and sorties from Sevastopol or Greec Balaclava Battalion for defending of Fort Genoise in Balaclava).
I've got a problem (a long time ago, but t is still not solved), I want to make animations of standing and walking with rifle on left shoulder (and leave animations from NW with rifles on right shoulder for NCOs), but I don't know how can it be made, I didn't see it in any mod for now. This how it should be:
Here I made model of rifle with new coordinates and attached it to left hand (like shield in Warband). Is it possible make in module system or in other way to appear this new model (
perhaps via vertex animation) instead of usual rifle, attached to right hand? I'm sure it is possible, 'cause in animation of firing musket or reloading musket there is vertex animation and it works perfectly, but I don't know, how make this vertex animation (usuall rifle+this new rifle in left hand) appear in correct frame of animation of walking and standing with rifle? I can't find any tutorial about adding vertex animation in skeletal animation, can someone help me with it? Or maybe someone knows better way to make such animation? Please?))
