ANZAC Day 2015 (100th Annivesary) - 25th April 2015
« on: April 20, 2015, 12:28:14 pm »
At dawn on 25th April 1915, ANZAC troops previously serving in Egypt landed on a Turkish beach on the Gallipoli Peninsula, with the rough ground, they stormed the beach with courage, as the Turks picked them off from the top of the beach. The campaign lasted a grueling 8 months, in which 26 111 Australian casualties were sustained.

Australians mark the 25th of April every year to commemorate the men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our heritage, our freedom and our pride.

Lest we forget.

Never forget the Emu Auxiliary Brigade

I was thinking of this. Thought it was perhaps a bit too close to the edge (hint hint)
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.
