First, our community adopted the regimental pattern as shown in Mount & Blade : Warband and it’s popular mod MMRussia. We transitioned towards Napoleonic Wars in the spring of 2012. On this DLC, our French-speaking regiment grew in strength and numbers and was the French leader in terms of staffing. In 2014 we even tried to add an English-speaking structure. At the end of 2014, we withdrew from Napoleonic Wars and became the 14e Gaming, a band of enthusiasts gamers, playing together on many different styles of games. With the release of Mount & Blade II – Bannerlord, we return once again, among the Mount & Blade universe. A real historical experience The 14e chose to bet on History and realism, incorporating a strong element of Roleplaying in Bannerlord. We decided to embody the Duchy of Normandy and to base our whole organisation on what a ducal army could have been during the 11th century. The Napoleonic Wars League served our purpose, being able to prove ourselves more quickly. Confrontations and victories followed. We only stumbled against the greatest at the time : 17e or Nr.24... Still, this gave the sweetest taste to the most prestigious victory of our history : the NWL title at the end of the 2013-2014 season. As for today, we are still involved on a very high level tournament, where victory has not yet chosen it's side for the competitors are quite a challenge to each others. What is left for us to prove ? Nothing. The 14e can, without a doubt, claim that it has accomplished all it aimed at. We did it and we show it proudly on our banners. With all that in mind, we now wish to focus on multigaming. So, it seems that time has come for the 14e, tired after so hard fought battles, and so we shall proudly drop our weapons and flags into our Hall of Fame at the end of this NWL season, in the same way our glorious elders did in 1815. This decision means less time spent on Napoleonic Wars, where we will maybe show ourselves from time to time on some battlefields with not such competitivity at stake. This change of directions could be temporary ; We are granting ourselves the right to come back 100% in the game when the time will feel appropriated. results of a neverending quest for excellency, loyalty, honor in most cases,

I could not summarize an incredibly rich of events story with only a few lines. I shall speak about the major moments of our goal to reach the summits.
October, the 14th of 2011 marks the beginning, when everything was yet to be done. Less than three years later, the 14e proudly
brandishes it's Champion title. This incredible achievement for a small French speaking regiment is the product of a several steps planning.
The first was to gain the respect of the French community, then to be a major part of it and finally to be at the top of it. To me, this goal was reached
by the end of 2012. The 14e could now turn it's ambitions upon the International community. Our first steps were quiet shy but the results were
the reward of our hard commitment. The victory against the 91st in Melee Tournament, by the end of 2013, was a turning point.
The holy road to victory was now open...
The Napoleonic Wars League served our purpose, being able
to prove ourselves more quickly. Confrontations and victories
followed. We only stumbled against the greatest at the time :
17e or Nr.24... Still, this gave the sweetest taste to the most
prestigious victory of our history : the NWL title at the end of
the 2013-2014 season.
As for today, we are still involved on a very high level
tournament, where victory has not yet chosen it's side for the
competitors are quite a challenge to each others. What is left
for us to prove ? Nothing. The 14e can, without a doubt, claim
that it has accomplished all it aimed at. We did it and we show
it proudly on our banners. With all that in mind, we now wish
to focus on multigaming. So, it seems that time has come for
the 14e, tired after so hard fought battles, and so we shall
proudly drop our weapons and flags into our Hall of Fame at
the end of this NWL season, in the same way our glorious
elders did in 1815. This decision means less time spent on
Napoleonic Wars, where we will maybe show ourselves from
time to time on some battlefields with not such competitivity
at stake. This change of directions could be temporary ; We
are granting ourselves the right to come back 100% in the
game when the time will feel appropriated.

Best thing about Napoleonic wars is the strong bond and friendship it creates when a regiment is formed. It creates the competitive yet far fetched teamwork between friends and allies that is un-breakable and yet remarkable.
14e is a prime example of brothers in arms that formed to be the best and obtained with dedication and an achievable goal in front of them, but whilst doing this they realize how much friendship and determination builds up.
The communities and gathering of friends is one of the best things to develop from a regiment, best yet to continue the legacy then let it disband.
14e will always have a chapter in the story of this game.

Great event last night guys, just like old times. Highlight for me was at the end where we had almost 100 men in a double line only get a single kill in a volley. Typical 1er Corps shooting!

I was talking to Chriseh about this the other day. He thinks that because the NW community makes up such a large portion of their sales they'll have to.
I can rely to this, pretty much the same feeling when I'm watching old 75e videos, bring back a shit tons of memories.
However the more time passing the more I see people going on with affirmations such as "They will obviously make a NW on Bannelord" or also quite often "Someone is already working on a DLC/Mod for Bannelord on NW". I'm a bit concerned that most of those times those people have litteraly no idea what they talking about.
What we have so far is what Taleworlds accepted to give us, knowing what there is in the developper blogs and what was seen at the PC Gamer weekend at London. That's pretty much about it. Anyone saying anything else is basicaly stuff based on speculations, which isn't really helpful, I guess everyone will agree on that.
Now, I'm not an expert of Taleworlds but from what I've been understanding Vincenzo has been the one making the mod Mount and Musket, for Warband, and Taleworlds bought them the rights to make the DLC Napoleonic Wars, which if Vincenzo took part in its creation, remain entitled as the Taleworlds Brand. However, Vincenzo parted away with Talewords around 4 years ago when he created the Flying Squirrel Forums, which isn't under Taleworlds Authority, and was made with the Battle Cry of Freedom in minds, a game which Taleworlds had nothing to do with. Again, that's what I've understood from discussions but that might be more complicated than that. If someone got a better version from what I've said, feel free to post. ;)
What I try to show is that I highly doubt that Vincenzo, who created NW for Warband, will be here to do the same when Bannelord comes out. The main base of Talewords's fan is based on the singleplayer, everyone know that. They know they also have a huge fan base in the multiplayer but nearly every multiplayer played a bit of singleplayer while the contrary isn't true. Given the time they are actually spending releasing their game, I think it's pretty safe to assume that Taleworlds has no plans on doing it, or actually doing it quick fast, or if they do, they showed no interst of making it clear for anyone. If you've proof of the contrary, please share them.
Same with people saying someone is already coding a NW for Bannelord. I would be actually quite curious to know who it is given nobody has access to the files yet. I've love that this was actually true but I really doubt so.
Anyways, I hope someone will make a module for Bannelord, as there is a huge community waiting for it, but I don't think we have to take it for granted, as it is not obvious as it seems.

Not sure what you mean with the begining of your sentence but I can assure you McPero that over the 180000 players registered on Taleworlds, a huge part of them are from the singleplayers. Native Competitive has hardly 200 players those days for a big tournament, I'm not sure how many for the mp part in total but that's stilll no more than the sp scene. Just look at the comments in the video presentation (Youtube Stream basically) by Captain Lust and TheTurkishGuyWithALongBeardThatICantRecallHisName. They're all speaking about singleplayers.
However what is sure is that yes, there will be more multi players, and yes it might potentialy makes the scene grows a bit, well atleast I hope so, but the exceptations from the competitive scene are way too differents from the interest Taleworlds has been showing in improving their multi scene. So let's not fool ourselves, there will more players but still no MatchMaking, no ingame console, no VAC anticheat system. Means no tournament involving huge cashprices. Means no possibility for the scene to grow up at its full potential which is surely here. And this is simply because Taleworlds doesn't care or act as if they don't care. They hired a Community Manager essentially for the competive multiplayer scene. It's been like what, 4 years? Nearly 5? Nothing happened since then which is worth being mentionned.

Truth is, you would be better off hosting your own LB if you have a server (or borrow the one of a regiment you would invite). With the current activity of the scene, I am pretty sure enough regiments would be interested to play with the 14e, even for one evening.
Even its more time confusing to organize it, I can guarantee you it will be more interesting for you guys to have somewhat of a control over the event, rather than joining a mediocre one where you're likely to waste your time.

I think the idea was to get 100v100 but you know how planning can go, you never really know precisely how many you will get till you are on the server. We had a few musicians and flags to balance it out so I suppose there is always a way to work it out.
