here is the article on him this is all the info I have any ideas on how to find more? I was told he was buried in a civil war cemetery in NYC supposed to be a pretty famous one

Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Lot 6775, Section 24. Unless, of course, he didn't die in 1891.
