The Mess Hall / What Premier League team would your regiment be?
« on: November 23, 2021, 12:22:44 am »

What would the premier league equivelant of your regiment be and why? (Doesn't have to be PL)

E.g. 33rd, maybe Aston Villa? A very old reg with some success in the past who can beat good teams when they turn up but aren't a consistent top team.

Technical Support / "Requesting Key..." Bug
« on: June 24, 2013, 06:07:44 pm »
Hello, for the past few days I've had a problem where whenever I try and start up Mount & Blade: Warband, I get this popup (instead of the usual one that has 2 CD Keys, one for Native and one for NW). I've tried verifying my game cache and looking in the Regedit for the key, but it seems to have been completely wiped from existence. It's been a real pain as I have to run a Regiment but can't actually be ingame which obviously makes things very difficult.

Hopefully someone can help, cheers.

The 1st Infantry Brigade are a small, EU based brigade with one key aim: building strong friendships between regiments, and their players. In the 1st Brigade we aim to promote a sense of community between everyone, from a new recruit right to the Colonels of the involved regiments. We are not a competitive brigade; unlike some brigades/armies, we do not have one leader who gives orders to involved Regiments - each Regiment, regardless of size, is sovereign and free of control from some kind of "higher power". We play and train together regularly, and are coordinated whilst doing so, however each regiment involved still has a sense of independence and retains their identity. We do not have any brigade tags, regiments simply retain their previous tags. In summary, we endeavor to create a fun, skilled and professional community that enjoy playing together.

In the 1st Brigade, no Regiment is considered more or less important than another. We continue this ethos in regards to the Brigade Command - the leader of the Brigade does not dictate terms to Regiment leaders on field, however; off-field, the Command staff are in place to ensure the smooth running of the Brigade by scheduling events, holding discussions with Regiment Leaders and do general promotion of the Brigade.

Union / 25th Michigan Volunteer Infantry Regiment
« on: April 21, 2013, 09:33:10 am »

The 25th Michigan Infantry was mustered into Federal service at Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 22, 1862. The regiment was mustered out of service on June 24, 1865 at Salisbury, NC. Benjamin Orcutt from Kalamazoo, MI was the Lt. Colonel of the Regiment for the duration of service. Major Dewitt C. Fitch of Mattawan, Surgeon was Bolivar Barnum of Schoolcraft. First Assistant Surgeon was Francis Oakley of York. Second Assistant Surgeon John N. Greggs of Schoolcraft. Adjutant Charles H. brown of Kalamazoo. Quartermaster was John M. Ridlon, Paw Paw. Chaplin was Albert L. Payson of Schoolcraft. In the Regiment's short time of existence, it fought at many battles, notably the Battle of Nashville and the Siege of Atlanta. The regiment suffered 1 officer and 34 enlisted men who were killed in action or mortally wounded and 2 officers and 141 enlisted men who died of disease, for a total of 178 fatalities.

The 25th Michigan Volunteer Infantry Regiment where formed as a sub-section of the 25th Regiment of Foot (NW). The majority of our members are already members of the 25th Foot, and this is more of a side venture. We will have one or two events a week max because our schedule has to coincide with the events of the 25th Foot, which takes priority. You do not need to be a member of the 25th Foot to join the 25th Missouri, however we do recommend it, as we are a tightly knit community who play North and South on the side, as well as Napoleonic Wars. Previous Regimental experience isn't essential but is recommended because, as a North and South regiment, we will not have any trainings because the majority of our members are from the 25th Foot of NW

In the 25th Michigan, we go by a few simple rules.
1)Respect all members, regardless of rank.
2)Respect other Regiments.
3)Conduct yourself in a mature manner.
4)Be as active as you can and attend events when possible.
5)Always listen to Officers, and stick to the PTS (Permission to Speak) system.
6) Never troll, and if you are told to stop doing something, stop doing it.

Hello guys, over the past few weeks I have been doing small favours for Regiment leaders, doing things such as designing banners, signatures and various graphics for people. Regiments I have helped include the 33rd, the 4e, the 9e and the 25th (my own Regiment)

Basically, if you want a Signature made, or help with anything, just pop me a message!

Examples of my work:

I also do things such as Crop images and make them transparent ie:

So far I have designed two threads:

the 9e's: https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=2867.msg83691#msg83691

the 25th's: https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=4073.msg129194#msg129194

Stuff I gotta do :3

The order I do stuff is first come, first served

Officer's signatures for Colonel Lime, of the 75th

Welcome to the 25th Regiment of Foot! We are a melee-based British Line Infantry Regiment, that aim to provide a professional and enjoyable Napoleonic Wars experience for all of our members. We strive to give a fun experience through discipline, skill, and a strong community aspect to the Regiment. We are well-disciplined, and trolling is not tolerated, but despite this we offer a very friendly, relaxed community of gamers.

In the 25th, promotions are gained by loyalty and merit. In order to receive a promotion, a member must be active, loyal, and showing a commitment not only to the regiment, but also to improving their own personal skills. Showing great improvement in melee is a great indicator of commitment, and will be rewarded. If a member shows exceptional loyalty and leadership ability, they may be promoted to an NCO rank, where they will be expected to maintain order in the ranks, and be further taught tactics and receive leadership training.

Redcoats on the Battlefield

In the 25th, we follow a rank structure similar to the structure of most British Regiments from the period. The Commissioned Officers lead in linebattles, and are responsible for the day to day operation of the regiment. The NCOs are in charge of discipline and training, and will receive training in leadership skills. Enlisted men are the backbone of the regiment, who train to become more skilled in the game. All new members will join as Recruits, and will steadily progress through the ranks if they show skill and loyalty to the Regiment.

In Training and Events, you should always obey the commands of a superior, and not question their orders. This is ensures the smooth running of the Regiment. If you have any concerns, or ideas, about certain tactics or maneuvers used, then do take them up with an officer after the event, but not during them! You should always respect your superiors, but also your inferiors - remember that this is only a game and everyone should be respected!

The 25th King's Own Borderers was raised on 18 March 1689 by the Earl of Leven to defend Edinburgh against the Jacobite forces of James II. It is said that 800 men were recruited within the space of two hours. The Regiment's first action was at the Battle of Killiecrankie on 27 July of the same year. Although this battle was a defeat for the Williamite army, the Jacobite commander, Viscount Dundee (Bonnie Dundee), was killed by a volley fired by Leven's Regiment, bringing an end to James II's attempt to save his throne.

The Regiment was judged to have performed well and was granted the privilege of recruiting by beat of drum in the City of Edinburgh without prior permission of the provost. At the beginning of the Napoleonic Wars, up until 1805, the Regiment's recruiting area was Sussex, but this was changed to the Scottish Borders region. From then, it was known as the King's Own Borderers.

Good attendance is an important aspect of the Regiment. In the 25th, we expect you to attend as many Events as you can. If you cannot attend for any reason, you are expected to post an excuse on the website. If you can attend an event, you are required to sign up on the website, so that we have an idea of numbers.
