Similar to NWL, NW Premier League and Napoleonic League Cup. This will take a similar approach as Primus took during the 3rdFG Infantry Cup in 2014 and Tyrion took with the Napoleonic League Cup in 2015. We are still discussing how we would like the brackets to be. However we are certain that we will be taking a similar approach rule wise to NWL. I think the problem is that referee in last seasons of NWL etc had really small amount of power and respect from the regiments and it is kinda hard that even the reg leaders who agree on referee are actually screwing him during the match.
All chat i think if somebody missclick and write global instead of team chat should be fine. Every normal referee can recognize if the player is bantering referee and opponents or if wasnt intentional.
What we really need to be fair is a strict schedule for the regiments what basicly means that nobody will fkin wait 5 weeks for some regiment.

Agreed, from my experience the two worse regiments for all chat were the 18e and 17e. Both are now hosting the cup? Can't see the rule being brought in. NW community is so cancer even NWL struggles to halt it. On that basis the 59th won't be playing but wish everyone else good luck.

"Double regging is strictly forbidden. Any regiment that is caught using players that are a part of another regiment, no matter if they are a part of the cup or not will receive a penalty. The penalty could be points lost or even full out match outcome alterations."
I would say pick one and stick with it. From experience some regs gets punished harder than others etc. Rids yourself the possibility of getting called out for bias and saves us all of the shitstorm that usually follows.

75e was one of my fondest NW memories, not sure if you remember NWL season 2 Tardet, when I disbanded 83rd, formed 18e with 30 guys (we had 200 beforehand, yeah I did that) I did a recruitment drive, trained all those pub server recruits straight for 2 days, brought 40 attendance to our match and managed to pull away a 7-3 win for our first event keeping even on melee. Was the best feeling ever being a pleb leader after the whole 1v10 incident bringing in a win against one of the most respectable, best French regiment at the time :-*

This is not the best way. For example, i dont care about ppl joining my steam group. Checking regiments' TeamSpeak and steam groups is one of the ways for the refs to check this on the spot. There is also a possibility of checking the ip adresses of the players who are on the server which you can then try to match to the person for whom you believe is double-regging or inviting.

As far as I see it, Lvov is not allowed to play for any other reg in the next 48 hours according to the rules, and has an option of "changing" his reg two more times before being banned from the cup. However, Lvov was never a member of 59e so cup organizers may ban him immediately. As I've said, waiting for their final decision.

In future I don't really care who it is, they should have a rank. Even if it's just an equivalent. Like previous comments mentioned, you signed up as 59e not 1st Brigade.

If you have read the rules Wolfster you know you should prioritize the events of the EIC, there for saying sorry can't play any matches because we have linebattles/Friendly 1v1 matches already planned is not an excuse how harsh it may sound you simply cannot fall 2-3 weeks behind and expect to catch up again, other regiments might be busy as well and stick to the 1 EIC match per week.

To be fair I don't think a reset would even be needed for FiC unless it would be +3 kills. Anything lower should be slays in my opinion.

Well now I am not even going to bother you posted this vid in hope the round could get a round back and now you bring something up which has nothing to do with the entire match, takes some skill I have to say, anyways perhaps it's a good idea to train your men not to fire when a melee fight is happening it seems like a mistake which happens often with you lot :)

If you can't accept regiments talking bad about you and that it can have an impact on your decision to stay or leave a competition, then that just shows you haven't what it takes to make your structure successful and will most likely disband in the upcoming weeks/months. If it happened during a live-match and you have evidences of it, bring it to the admins and they will eventually look into it. If its serious enough, punishements can be taken as its not allowed by the rules.They left because they can't win anything. I already know the reason why. No you kept coming to me asking to replay the match, I told you without a video I will not make any decision. So you carried on going then proceeded to have some random 57th guy who was in spec try and stick up for you, who then said: "[WoN][57.Alay] Ibrahim Pasha: I swear I didn't saw alot FiC, but you would lose no matter what happens". I did bring some evidence towards chriseh , since we didn't know we would face these things I didn't had my recording ready , as much with my evidence I had from spectators who saw wat happened nothing got done with it. after I waited for a answer chriseh just went talking about something else instead of solving this problem , so I leave it with this and we will withdraw we wish the best luck towards other regiments.

That being said there is one quick tip I want to give to any other regiment in the EIC tournament, Referees see a lot and are able to react pretty fast but cant see everything to its perfect extend as that would be hard to do so but, if it happens for example that the referee indeed misses out on a potential rule break then make sure you always have someone in your regiment recording the matches, this for the main reason being that it allows us as in Me and John Price (+ the referee team if me and John have our doubts) to analyze the match and give our opinion about it and even granting a round to the opposite team if we feel like the rule break had major effect on the outcome of the match.

I am happy to announce that after a good conversation with Archwolf the Cpt of the 89th we have solved the issue in regards of the 89th leaving the tournament, they will remain in the tournament after I made everything clear to Archwolf in regards of the 63e match.
Special thanks to the 63e for actually recording this match and give a good point of view from both sides, this allowed me to analyze everything that happened during the match and made this a lot easier to solve.
So if you still need to plan a match for this match week as in regards to the 89th then you are free to do so and I hope that further problems next time can be solved over steam and or TS.

I would like to remind all leaders that just blindly posting your match on here without a reservation of a server is completely besides the point. 4 regiments on Sunday had no server to play on as they were all full... Meaning I had to put up the spare server and use the 17e's one so lets avoid that issue again.
When posting go back a few pages and make sure that the server you are reserving is free then we are all happy bunnies.

Both sides committed numerous rule breaks (the match lasted 1h 6 mins due to numerous resets for rule breaks).
Constructive criticism - 28th:
- Sort your FiC out, this was a problem on more than half of the rounds with multiple slays having to be issued.
- Several rounds had to be reset due to OA, in the future please tell your guys not to aim for the officer/the part of the line where the officer is at whilst on the move.
- Please let the referee admin the match, your 'advise' is not appreciated (especially when some of you state issues with my admining despite having not even read the rules yourself)
Constructive criticism - 96y:
- Discipline was poor - creating swastikas out of muskets whilst camping (for close to 15 mins, which was a fault from both sides) is frankly a piss take and was not appreciated. Had to temp ban one of your members for poor behaviour although he was not the only one, essentially learn to discipline your line please.
- Gaps on the move were an issue on a couple of the rounds, please make sure you do not create 3+ man gaps in the future.
- Your formations need working on, there were multiple occasions where your line was very bent or blobbed up. In the future make sure your line is straight or as straight as can be at all times.
- RoL, this is simple, break the reloads when the line starts moving. I had to slay too many of your guys for this.

We withrawed from the Cup not on hold read my messages correctly , if you read the rules correctly if any regiment withdraws from the Cup all future matches result in a draw not a 10-0.

Theres no point in having a regiment that does not even have enough people to form a line (today they missed their match against 77y). Obviously its sad to see a long standing regiment fall so far but hey ho thats what you get for the decisions you make. Good luck to them hopefully they recover.

If 4 or more people are shot in charge then the victim regiment may ask for a reset (subject to intepretation by referee depending on situation).

IVe, you signed up to this tournament while signing a form that says "Have you read and agreed to the rules?". Your general behaviour in this match clearly shows that you have not read a single one of these rules. If the referee tells you "No more all chat" then you listen to that referee. Not start insulting him. Its even worse when you start bullshitting about it. We knew that guy wasn't afk, he got himself caught and into melee. That reflects the entirety of your regiment, as the rule states.
I expected alot more from the longest standing community among NW regiments, that however was fucking disgusting. I will be messaging your leaders asking them to re read the rules thoroughly. I will also have a chat with them about the use of invites. Hmmm.

I saw my ppl breaking rules because their incopetence and i already noticed that and explained them their mistakes. If ramboed officer was unexperienced recruit - i can agree, that he could do such a thing. If officer followed the rules, 63e didnt charge us and we might have an apportunity to shoot before charge. This way i can just leave my line on the spawn and run towards enemy's line and charge them.

Number of problems which ruined a perfectly good match, nothing to do with the 28th as their behaviour and performance was very good.They all should have been restarted... I apologise if they haven't and will do so immediately.
Firstly the server appeared to have not been reset which led to complaints from both sides.
Secondly the referee appeared to have a number of issues with both following the rules he is supposed to enforce and a problem with mathematics. Appearing to think that if we have 14, they can +1 and have 16. The ref also appeared to get very personal with his enforcing of select rules, Slaying Falk for saying that another person would have been a better ref, temping raii for saying "Who's going to slay you for being bad," and then permanently banning Frittentime for disputing his slays and bans.
Perfectly good match ruined by a poor show by the referee.

The 96y attitude throughout the match was fairly disappointing to say the least. Unlike some other of my comrades, I have, or actually, had respect for the 96y because you guys have proven to be a force to be reckowned with as the weeks go and I was looking forward to face you, hoping for a good and fair fight.That was the map you picked. We knew that our melee wasn't comparable to 17e's so we tried our best. Regarding the OA in the first round where Pieter was shot, he was almost in melee (which we won.) In the very next round, we were winning by shooting so there is no reason for us to Officer aim on purpose. Fridericous is still a bit annoyed by Pieter after their time in the 15th YR so we apologize for him.
However, camping behind hills litteraly 10 rounds out of 10, taking the piss by openely focusing our officer at the back (legit tactic but just lame af), by shooting Pieter on purpose while he was leading leading to a reset twice in a row (same guys firing on him the two times) and bringing 15 men just so you could have a slight chance to get some rounds just prove you're the kind of regiment obsessed by victory and ready to play as poor as possible if it means getting some more rounds.
As for Etherton, you clearly baited a reaction out of him and you got it. I don't support what he says but you were clearly trying to trigger that so don't act all surprised when it happens. That's just pathetic, no other words.

All I'm going to say in defense of my inactivity of reffing is that all our steams are on the front page and not once have I been contacted asking to ref somebody. I've also posted that I'd take the match more than once on this very thread and people have straight up ignored it so it's not always these "can't be bothered refs". If people that are begging for referees can't even take the initiative to click on the 1st page and add them then tbh they don't deserve one.Exactly. So if we are busy, who else does it?
How the fact most referees are from the 17e and the 18e is relevant to the situation? Unless you have a EIC match at the same time which obviously can happen or IRL priorities, you effectively aren't busy, you make the choice to do something else instead of being a referee.
That's not the first time I'm taking a match because no one else can and the regiments have litteraly kept asking to everyone and you won't have me believe that its because 'all the other referees' are busy. Some are, and some others can't be arsed, simple.
That's 8 of 11 available referee's. Before you, Etherton and Munj, Me, Wuesten and Midnight were doing all the reffing. If there are people online that are free to ref but don't, thats another story but until you bring me evidence of people actively refusing to ref because they "can't be bothered" then please do not post snarky comments like that. It was still OA, however even your own rules state a slay is standard procedure for that. Both times you were outnumbered and used the opportunity instead for a reset. I would like to see what happens in other EIC matches for OA in such a situation. The more noted bias was the fact that you banned numerous of our members for using the all-chat, and slew people for using the dead chat which has to my knowledge never been counted as in-round all chat. At the same time, you didn't slay your own members for using the dead all-chat within the same or previous rounds. Our officer received a slay for "rambo" even though he charged five spaces or less ahead of our own line, moreover simultaneously everyone was charging. I recall instances where you didn't slay your members for FoL / RoL, however ours got slain for RoL, which was actually very debatable by itself. As for the final round, in addition to slaying all, you stated in the admin chat that this round will go to your regiment. I don't see the jurisdiction for that in the first place, however the scoring of it was clear and no, we did not all leave the server so it couldn't be void entirely. I surely forgot to mention some other things, not to even touch upon the gameplay itself without admining. What a fucking shit-show.

As soon as contact is initiated between either regiment then all firing must cease. Or if a member of a regiment breaks their formation. Failure to do so will result in a slay. If 4 or more people are shot in charge then the victim regiment may ask for a reset (subject to intepretation by referee depending on situation).
Officers should stand 4-5 spaces from the line to avoid any issues. If the officer is shot as the line is forming up, this still counts as officer aim as the officer should not be aimed at whatsoever. If the officer is shot then the killer will be slain and option for a reset will be open. If the officer is behind the line or in between members, then this is his own fault so no slay will be given. Already been a discussion in the NWL if I remember correctly and I'm up for it, not sure all regiments would be however as some use camping as a full part of their gameplay and couldn't win without it.
