We've decided to give USE4life an unban and a second chance. Yes he's caused some trouble in the past, and yes, some of you may have been insulted by him at some point or other. However, he has thus far complied with the condition we set upon his return, and we have made it clear that if he breaks these conditions then he will be re-banned, this time permanently.
We'd much rather allow for rehabilitation than simply ban people forever, if possible. People can change and mature, and the actions of someone during a so-say community "uprising" don't necessarily fairly reflect their behaviour on a day-to-day basis. We are aware of USE4life's recent comments on Taleworlds and these posts were mentioned as we discussed his unban over the past few days, and have affected the conditions we've placed upon him. If he breaks those conditions, or even so much as pisses one of the moderation staff off, then he's gone, simple as that. Given that fact, there's nothing to lose from giving him a second chance - we don't need to jump through hoops to ban him again (unlike the first time), and he knows that.
We fully discuss every unban request at length and regularly check up upon certain banned individuals to evaluate their suitability for this forum, in the event that we decide to award an unban. None of these decisions are made likely, and given that Vince was directly slandered (far more explicitly than anyone else here, in fact) in this case we've also sought his approval before reaching a conclusion on the unban request in the first place. If Vince can forgive the comments made about him, I expect the rest of you to forgive the far more minor slights made against yourselves - or at the very least, to stop talking about it publicly.
