Aren't they the same game? What was the name of the CoD:5 copy that people thought was going to be an esporty game

Buy BF:5 or you're limiting cultural progression

 if you get it as a gift for "christmas" you'll be offending the devs

If they labeled this an alternate history I’d be totally down but it’s not.. why are they like this. It just looks like BF1, which already was WW2 with no bolt actions and huge amounts of experiment semiauto and full auto weapons which came out after the war. Why Dice, why

I agree. This just looks like a reskin of BF1 with just a few newer mechanics and time period.

BF1 was never really a WW1 game anyway. It was a WW2 game with a WW1 skin. So I'm not really sure why people are upset with how similar the two games are. If you want to be mad at something be mad that BF1 was essentially ww2--lite.

Better than BF1 imo. Although it still sufferes from a lack of good gun variation. Doesnt even have the PPSH  >:( >:(

Yeah variatin is low, but I played it yesterday for the first time and its actually quite fun. It feels like a battlefield game. and the sound and graphics are stunning.
