Fall Damage
« on: April 28, 2018, 08:17:11 am »
Hi,
Is there any way to take away fall damage in the module files, so no health is lost when a player falls?

You could disable selfinflicted damage.
Some stuff should be excluded, otherwise it could be abused (like damage from mortars, explosive chests and such), so pretty much everything someone can hurt himself with, except for falling.

Would this be found in module scripts? So far I have struggled to find anything on falling, or self damage, though not sure if I am in the wrong file or just missed it.

Pitch is actually right. After his hint I checked the file and there you can change the fall damage.
You need to try, if you can put it to zero. If not, maybe trying it with a low value.

if that ^^  doesn't work, look for the on hit in the mission template file.  you can try messing with that.(change the damage taken or even healed, turning the trigger off, etc,.)  before the last patch, i used it to make my medic system.
