While argueably one of the most predictable scenes ever, they STILL managed to pull it off really well. GG to the writers and director.

I'm happy Roose got what he deserved though. His death really made me happy.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that he'd be able to align himself to anyone but Ramsay now because I don't think Jon or the rest of the Northern Houses who aren't loyal to House Bolton will take too kindly to Littlefinger marrying the 'sole remaining' Stark child to the Boltons.

But he never forced her too. Plus, he has an entire army behind him, the last force untouched by warfare (Besides Dorne, who have a pretty lame army). The Northerns will forget any bad feelings they have if he joins them.
