Even though they are probably busy on making BCoF and such there is no denying that NW is a very competitive skill based game that a lot of people try hard to get good at and once you get at that level its hard to maintain it. and you realize that your not getting anything back from the game from what your putting in to it. (other than respect from other members and what not) But things like NWL have had a positive impact on the community and something for players to look forward to, without any reward other than a signature. but if there was some sort of real prize I think that it would prolong the community's life and replay value for the older more experienced players.

AsianP and I fully support this idea and would be interested in helping it come into reality.

The developers being hosts will also eliminate most biased competitive events.

This would be extreemly beneficial to the community as a whole.

Flagged this for a couple of the devs.

One of which is in a NA regiment. I've got my own thoughts about this...but I'm hoping they give their two cents.

Lol the devs don't care about us and seem to lack any understanding of PR.

Before anyone goes trashing the devs or anything I'd just like to say that this sounds like an awesome idea but the devs are not obligated to helping it. Good luck.

Its unrealistic to expect the developers to do something about this. They are already occupied with developing another game. Furthermore, the odds of sponsoring events being a success is not very high. These events might do something or it might do nothing. It's a bet that doesn't guarantee profit. The developers are not at fault really it would certainly help if they be more responsive to the community ,but the only way to make changes to the community would be the players themselves.

Actually had a discussion with Apollo briefly on this some weeks ago.  I would love to see, events sponsored by the company which developed the game, hosted by that company, and a much more community involvement by FSE to make it happen as it would increase brand recognition and improve the overall community for the better.  From my understanding, the dev's are just too busy working on BCoF to be concerned with napoleonic wars anymore, which is understandable, as these sort of ideas probably should've been introduced three years ago for napoleonic wars.  I will also ask again, but if anything I would like to promote and see this sort of concept implemented with BCoF
