I'm personally 50/50 on the announcement of a sequel already, but from what I hear about the reasons why 2077 released as it did, I have hope that the 2nd one will be much much better.

Rushed by investors, QC was done by a 3rd party (testing, reporting bugs etc.) which for some reason had a quota which would influence how they were paid. So they would just waste the devs time with small bugs, but not getting down to the ones that were practically gameplay breaking (police spawning behind you etc.). A lot more to it so research into it if interested.

I am usually not a huge critic on games, I enjoy most games where people say that its dogshit and rushed but oh man did they massacre Cyberpunk, a title I was really looking forward to. I hope as well they learned from their mistakes and can deliver on the sequel.

They announced 5 new games, 2 Witcher games (1 with geralt 1 alternate), Cyberpunk Sequel and 2 new original IP's but haven't named them yet

Let us hope it will be good, because when they do it right, the games are masterpieces (looking at the Witcher 2 and 3).
