TO THE 200TH ANNIVERSARY BATTLE OF THE NATIONS AT LEIPZIG

In remembrance of the fateful days in October 1813, many public performances involving participants from all over Europe will take place from the 17th - 21st of October 2013. The highlight of these performances is most definitely going to be the re-enactment of civil scenes and military actions of 1813, involving around 6 000 participants from all around Europe on the southern part of the battlefield, incorporating historical village scenery.
The program complements the historical bivouacs in and around the grounds of the agra park in Markkleeberg, the cavalry bivouac, ceremonial events at the memorial of the Battle of the Nations, the Ball of the Nations in the Park Castle of the agra park, as well as the historical market.

Sunday, 20 October 2013
Start: 12:00 | Entry: 10:00 at the “Weinteichsenke Markkleeberg”, between Eastern Markkleeberg and Wachau. Access via Bornaische Str. Markkleeberg

    Re-enactment of civil scenes and military actions of 1813 on the southern battlefield - with ca. 6000 participants from around Europe.
    Incorporation of the historical village.
