Been playing since the 8th. The game is fun and has alot of potential but in the end, it just wants to be CS:GO. And it isn't. CS:GO is still far superior in so many aspects.

I imagine this game will end up much like Apex Legends, a game that is wildly popular at launch / beta. Then the hype will die down and so will the game. It will have its niche small dedicated community but it will never surpass CS:GO / Overwatch or LoL/Dota as the next big esport. It just simply isn't unique enough or good enough at what it offers.

Its essentially a worse version of CS with overwatch like abilities. And personally my biggest gripe is that the movement is just disgusting, especially when compared to CS.

To be fair though, it is still early beta so who knows. It could evolve into perfection. But it certainly isn't there yet.

objectively the game is worse than cs:go and also has a lower skill ceiling due to simplified gunplay and movement mechanics. I kind of view it as a lightweight cs:go. Most of CS:GOs mechanics also came organically as the game evolved over the years. Still though I think it's fun and it's just a lightweight cs:go to me.

I feel like a snail in this game for some reason, like anytime i peek a corner it feels like what a silver 2 crouch peek would look like

it does feel a bit slower, also the fact that you essentially get stunned when you get tagged is fucking stupid, it makes it so hard to peek around corners effectively especially if the other person is holding a weird off-angle
