We really felt that the Fire on the Charge rule gave large regiments way too much power and that it took away the real strategy in the battle.  With a large line you can order a massive charge of 20 men vs. 10 and take out almost everyone with one massive shotgun blast at close range.  This way there is always the option to re-position if you do not like your current odds against a large line.  Definitely adds more complexity, that is for sure.

Anyhow, glad you enjoy the events so much!  See you on the field tomorrow!
