Hey guys!

I'm working on a project, and for the life of me I can't come across anything on the 86th Royal County Down regiment of foot.

Anyone sitting on some dusty paintings or photographs?

I know they switched their facings from yellow to blue.  But I only have one of each picture from the interwebz.

Also, the two pictures available don't show what the officers looked like.

Thanks for your time!!   I appreciate it!!

The officers would have looked like what the officers of every infantry regiment looked like. I believe the 86th spent almost the entire Napoleonic period in India, though, so the officers would likely have worn tophats instead of bicornes or shakoes.

All you really need to know is that in May, 1812, they adopted blue facings and gold lace for officers. The buttons likely would have changed to brass for all ranks, too.
