The partnership with the 32nd Regiment of Foot started about a year ago just a few days after our foundation. Since then there has been a practice battle almost every week to develop and test different strategies, but at the same time to strengthen the teamwork and to further improve the individual strength of the individual hussars, in addition to the training sessions. Even though it turned out early that the balance of power was unbalanced with the same number of men, it was always an honorable and funny round of time. Due to the fact that the 32nd had no competitive hussar fighting experience, we initially won many of the battles with a very high result. Nonetheless, the 32nd turned up every week with growing numbers of men, so that they were sometimes twice as many. There were also soldiers from the other battalions of the 32nd Regiment of Foot and we (and hopefully also with the 32nd) quickly developed into a highlight of the week, where we were able to relax and enjoy the time with the 32nd. We also always watched the 32nd games in the CCL, in which they participated, with a good number of men. Due to the permanent training sessions with us, the 32nd both developed a very good skill value, but they also gained experience. They also seemed to have helped in their games in the league, after all they managed to silence the critics and, contrary to the predictions of many, were not the last, we congratulate you again, of course, you deserve that !!!

Throughout the year friendships developed between the individual players and officers. Through a game that you play together, you get to know each other better than you could ever do through conversation. And the best thing about playing together and enjoying the game is the fact that it doesn't matter where the people come from, how they look or how they dress. And we celebrated that friendship on March 26th with games, the re-enactment of historical moments and a closing ceremony. We are thrilled to have met you, the 32nd regiment of foot. But this is not the end! We will continue to hold our matches every week and we long to keep crossing the sabers with you, it was, is and will be an honor!

On the 3rd of March 2019 the 1er régiment de hussards was created by the Capitaine DeLaBedoyère and his Lieutenant Soartex. We proudly and solemnly celebrate the first anniversary of the 1er régiment de hussards. Over the past year we have faced all opponents and challenges and mastered them with bravery and passion. Of particular note is the fact that although the community is slowly dying out due to the advancing age of the game, we were nevertheless able to establish ourselves among the top regiments through sweat and tears. We are not only a regiment of many but we are a unique community with events outside of Napoleonic Wars. We have established contacts and friendships with many regiments and have had many wonderful moments with them. We have successfully fought in the big CCL and are far from over. We are hungry for more glorious battles and victories and we are positive about the coming time. We look forward to the coming weeks and months until a Napoleonic Wars mod is released and will enjoy these moments. We continue to participate in linebattles and continue to have our weekly 1v1 against the 32nd regiment of foot and we obviously have 1v1's against other very strong regiments.
We would also like to use this moment of celebration to thank all people on our way. People from the regiment itself and also people from outside helped us developing and growing. Especially in times of Corona you can see that the cohesion of the earth's society is more important than ever. This cohesion also reflects our ideal image of a regiment. We have grown into a large family and know each other as well as our own saber bag. Maybe after this Corona crisis we can finally hold our long-awaited regimental meeting.
But there are two very special persons inside the regiment who we have to thank for what we have. Those two wonderful persons with positive unique personalities have raised the regiment like their own children (if they would have children).
The 2 legends with the 1erHuss skins

One of them is our capitaine himself DeLaBedoyère. He founded the 1er régiment de hussards without knowing what he will experience and which challenges would be coming up to him. With diligence and ambition, he quickly gathered a crowd of strong and strong-willed hussars with the aim of climbing the top of the hussar regiments. He invested all of his free time in the regiment, in training members and friends even outside of the regiment, in organizing the regiment and was always open to members' personal problems.

Still, De La Bedoyère could never have gotten it without his faithful loyal companion and Lieutenant Soartex. De La Bedoyere's calm and somewhat hidden right hand worked hard behind the scenes, trained with members every day and took care of many administrative tasks related to the teamspeak and its own regimental server and its maps. He is one of the most reliable and venerable people in the community. You could (and still can) ask him for some training at any time of the day no matter what day and he was always there when there were training sessions - especially when it came to duels

CCL Summary:
Our first competitive tournament ended last week. After some up's and down's we ended up on the 5th place, which makes us very happy. We are hoping to be able to participate at more competitive events in the upcoming future and to perform even better!
Our first match was against the DCL (the winner of the CCL). Unluckily we ended up loosing 3-7 to them, with a bit of luck we could have achieved a better result, but it is not a shame to loose against the winner
Our second match was versus the 4e, the most known and most successful regiment in NW. We also ended up 3-7 against them.
Our third match was also our first victory. In a very close and intense series against the 5e we were able to achieve a 7-3 victory.
Our fourth match was against the 2Lr, a german-only regiment. Even though we performed badly, we were able to win 6-4.
Our fifth match was against the Nr.4 where we lost 0-10. The Nr.4 was in every field better than us and they taught us a lesson
Our sixth match was another 0-10 defeat. The 8th King's Royal Hussars, who we faced often in train matches before, completely destroyed us in a very fast game
Our last match of the CCL was against the 8pk. With some outstanding performances of some of our players we were able to get a 10-0 Victory as a good ending for the CCL. With that victory we also secured the 5th place.

We are really happy about the opportunity to proof ourselves in a very big competitive event like the CCL. Thank you to Shadey and StephanGH for hosting the event, also thanks to our Cavalier Lindblom who provided the servers for the event, we had a lot of fun. We are looking forward for more competitive events and matches.

After the CCL a well-known and friendly regiment decided to disband (5e). Even though we are very sad about it, because we lost a good practise partner, we are happy to announce that a few of their members joined our regiment to keep fighting with us:

Weekly Summary:
On Thursday we had our weekly train-match against the 32nd where we had a lot of fun, gg wp!
On Saturday we had another train match against the 8th where we unluckily lost 3-7, gg wp!
On Sunday we were finally able to achieve our first victory against the 5e in a train match, after "just" achieving 2 draws recently. We are really happy and proud about the result (7-3) and we are looking forward for the official match, gg wp

On Saturday we had our first train match ever against the 8pk, which is one of our opponents in the CCL. In a close series we were able to at least achieve a draw, hopefully we are going to have a better performance against them in the CCL

On Sunday we played against the 5e. In a back and forth-series we were against able to obtain a draw. The matches against 5e always fulfill us with joy and a pleasure, they are full of action and drama. Hope to have more in the upcoming future, GG WP!

Weekly Summary:
Our first week after our little summer break was full of action, fun and motivation.
On Thursday we had our weekly train match against 32nd, where we had the possibility to train a lot of 1 vs 2 situations which helped us a lot, thanks again for that match
On Friday we had a little train/fun match against/with the 8th, where we had to mix a part of their lineup together with ours because of lack of men, next time we are more for sure
On Sunday we had our 2nd Train Match against the Nr.6. Last time we were able to achieve a 9-1 victory, but this time we were able to make a 10-0 against them. We had some outstanding performances and we were able to show our skill once again, gg wp!

Hello guys !
We are happy and proud to announce that we have been invited to play in the CCL League 1. It delights us that we are able to compete at a cavalry tournament against the best regiments in NW. The progress this regiment did in the last couple month is incredible. It makes us extremely satisfied that we became an important part of the NW community so quickly. We are thanking everyone who supported us actively and passively during the duration of our existence.
We are really looking forward to our first big tournament as a regiment and we hope to represent ourselves well in the competition but also outside of it. The only goal we are going to have for the tournament will be to have fun, to improve the individual skill but also our teamwork. The regiments we are going to face in the upcoming weeks belong to the strongest amongst the NW cavalry community, so it will be a challenge every week to achieve a victory or to win some rounds, but we will give 120% for sure
We also wish every regiment, whether first or second division, the best of luck and a lot of fun.

Information :
The regiment is currently taking a break for the summer holidays, meaning that it won't be active for a period that is not defined yet.
We will eventually come back when the regiment attendance will be good enough to participate to matchs again.
