Haha nice skins Super! I like how the rankers look without the backpacks but I think the officers should have a certain je ne sais quois to them as they look very similar to rankers! Other then that I think it is excellent !

Those skins look mighty fine, but I'm not sure where your backpacks went Also something you notice is something doesn't seem right colour/lighting wise because the trousers are very dark and the shirts are very light, so you could try making the trousers white or the shirts a slightly darker/duller red - or if you have knowledge of them try and edit the specular maps

I removed the backpacks from the models, and I know how to fix the lighting problem, but thanks for the advice.

Yeah super by looking at these historical pictures I think the rankers in your skin pack should have the chest belt with the 3rd badge on it which will make the officers and rankers look different. Then you should make the pants a darker colour and tweet the red and biege abit on the uniforms. After that it should look really nice I presume

Yeah that would be nice to experiment and see which one is best and which one is worse!

I am also very excited to say that we are having our own custom training map being made !

Judging by those pictures there are a few details missing; the leather of the cross-straps and the like matched the buff facings that were issued to the 3rd and they also seem to have been erroneously depicted with gold plates in one of those images - it ought to be silver. There are also a few sources that I've come across that depict them with buff knapsacks with the regimental number replaced with the Welsh dragon in black - I'll see if I can dig them up.

Those are gaiters, not boots. The same effect can be achieved by replacing the necessary leg file in OpenBRF with the Bavarian legs, though.
