While this is pretty good news, I doubt the ships will be just extremely nice looking static buildings that can be destroyed. Maybe a game mode around them will be built.

I want to know of the Marines from both sides can be picked with the rest of the regiments in casual play? also, I trust we'll be getting more information on the rest of the content in the next few days?

I think its possible to place cannons on them making them a supplement prop. I am not sure if its possible to sink/destroy them as well? Not sure.

Perhaps can be used as a spawn point for naval landing missions etc where small boats spawn around the frigate.

I am at a loss for words. ;D

I'm hoping the frigates, while not sail-able, will still be decked out (pun intended) with cannons and act as spawn points. Perhaps they will be slowly drifting together (I believe a custom map in MM did this) or we'll have to use the smaller boats to board the opposing ship.

Even if we can't have full fledged naval battles, we should still be able to simulate some awesome boarding actions. :D
