Steam Bootstrapper / Random game crashes

So since yesterday, out of the blue I log on Steam and I get an error called "Steam Bootstrapper has stopped working". I think I solved this but then every game I launch on Steam crashes every time I launch it. I've tried everything on how to fix this but nothing has worked. Please send advice or info if any. I can't play any games on Steam.. would like this to be solved quickly.. I need to attend events.
