What was happening when you got banned: He went in as a name, was told to change it, so he changed it again to something that still had the name in it, and he got perma banned.

Competitive NA Events/Tournaments / North American Napoleonic Wars Groupfighting League

Introduction
We have seen the North American Groupfighting Tournaments go on for a while now. They are a quite enjoyable event. But this only takes place once every couple months. We've decided to make this into a full fledged event here. We've been inspired by these teams competing for top spot in these tournaments, and everyone has a blast fighting together, working together, and playing together. We will be using the same rules as the tournaments, just with a little tweaks to make it applicable for a league. We will be looking for as many teams as possible. You may sign your regiment up for it, or any non-regimental team is fine to. If enough people sign up we can have 2 leagues going at the same time. Whoever comes first will have the pleasure of being the top groupfighting team in North America! This is mainly a league for having fun! Just as NANWL, this league isn't all about the competition. We hope for everyone to have fun, and enjoy themselves during this event.


Rules

A win counts as 3 points.
A loss counts as 0 points.
A draw counts as 1 point.

1. No shooting! This is a GROUPFIGHTING league, and no use of muskets should be used, other than your bayonet itself.
2. No swords! Bayonet only.
3. No special classes, (i.e Light Infantry, Foot Guard, Rifles, Ensigns)
4. 8 rounds, no team swapping is needed.
5. No invites or mercenaries on your team.
6. Teams consist of 5 members, and 2-3 substitutes. If team fails to bring the requirements, they will play as is or forfeit.
7. Home team chooses faction.
8. If one team does not appear on time (6 min grace period) then it is an automatic forfeit. 8-0. If both teams do not show, it's a 0-0 loss for them.
9. Results will be posted in this thread, and in the bracket. The referee may confirm it if he must.
10. If somebody has a complaint about a team, the organizers will investigate it and come upon a decision together, proof via screenshots or video would be helpful.
11. Be respectful to any and all teams. Any verbal abuse or harassment will result in punishment from the organizers!
12. If teams are tied in points at the end of the season, the one with the better Round Wins:Round Lost ratio will be the victor! If they are still tied at that point, then another matched will be played to decide the victor. and it cannot be a draw!
13. Organizers and Referees are to be treated with respect! If you have a complaint about one of them, report it on the forums and we will investigate. But until then, let the referees do their job and listen to them through out the whole match, failure to comply will result in punishment.
14. Having members in 2 or more teams is against the rules! If a team has someone in multiple teams then they will be banned, and if the team plays them knowing that they are in another team, the team will be punished for using them!
15. The team coming in first place in League 1 will be crowned "Groupfighting Champions of North America".


Battle Times

The battles themselves will be fought on days arranged by the two leaders of the opposing teams. They will receive a deadline and have to fight before it or it will be counted as a 0-0 loss for both. Deadlines will not be extended!


Sign Ups

Sign Ups are currently closed.

Start date will be Jan 5.

The sign ups are currently open! Right now we are looking to see if anybody or any teams are interested in playing. We will decide on how this goes based on how many people sign up. Once sign ups are closed, you will not be able to enter no longer until next season, so stay tuned. Team leaders will also be invited to the steam group, so look out for that.

What was happening when you got banned: All of the 54th sent out a recruitment message and we all got banned.
