Today 14th July is our national day ! First brave men took the Bastille and 3 years later the King fell and our first Republic was born 

Don't forget that without our Revolution, Napoleonic Wars couldnt exist ^^

These times were extraodinary for simple people who become later generals, maréchal etc... As one of my favourite Lannes, or Ney, Bernadotte and much more. Glorious days, so much to say ! I feel happy and proud of my history today !

Yes, just think in 1789 he was only a poor random volunteer and by the god of war he became King of Sweden, it's still his family on the throne  He was chosen because of his kindness to some swedish officers captured
