Bans/mutes/warnings
« on: December 20, 2015, 06:10:41 pm »
Taleworlds forum has a similar thread. It's for asking people why certain people were warned/muted/banned.

A Lovely E - banned, reason: Using the second account while the first one was banned
Turin Turambar - banned, reason: Constant trolling

I'm curious why was user 'A lovely E' banned
I dont know, but it really looked like a second account of Eazy-E, who is already banned.

It intensifies the work load of moderators for no good reason and people used the thread to discuss mutes or bans continuously if they didn't agree with it. I don't see why I should bring it back, though feel fry to try and convince me.

Maybe dont make it so that everyone posts on it, but rather just explain why a certain someone was banned. Maybe helps people to understand how to behave, and if not they are simply trolls that should be banned anyway.

That would double the workload and thus make moderators less willing to hand out due punishments. The rules are there for people to understand.

That's hardly our problem. You're expected to know the rules when using this forum, and pleading that you did not know a rule is impossible.

You kinda have to agree with those when you join. You think a real life court would you let you go after doing something illegal and you weren't aware it was illegal because you didn't read the law? Think, my dear boy THINK!

Perhaps if there was a feature to show the reason why a user was banned on his profile screen?

also ignorantia juris non excusat
if the autists on NA_1 know it then so should you
