They probably still used it to transport rounds anyway.
There was no house for soldiers to bunk, either we burned it or a officer took it as HQ.

Okay, to be completely fair, on campaign the Dutch, Belgians and Nassauers had to camp because the British took all the houses. They only were quartered during the months prior to the battle of Waterloo when they were spread out to guard the border.
And remember, that's camping NAPOLEONIC style - It means without tent, simply in your greatcoat next to the road, and if you were lucky you had a bag of dry straw as mattress. All trough, these men were often masters in making make-shift shelters. I once made that myself too, it was pretty fun. It did take me and my mate like 3 hours and...well...let's say I'm glad it didn't rain.
