Title: M. Tournaments | 3v3 | Stand-off Series

Hello everybody, I am pleased to inform you all that I will be hosting a 3v3 Stand-Off Series tournament. This tournament will be open to 16 teams only, since it is the first edition. The tournament format will be brand-new for the Napoleonic Wars Community! A team of three players (with one substitute) will have to play one by one duels against the opposing team (example below). Group Stage duels are going to be FT3, and each duel a player wins translates to one point for his team. The two teams which possess the most points in the group stage will qualify for playoffs. The same system applies in the playoff stage - the teams with the most points will continue to advance into the semi-final and grand-final respectively. The group Stage format is going to be played out in a round-robin configuration, with two groups of five teams. POINTS SYSTEM Team 1 (PQ. PW. PE) vs. Team 2 (PX. PB. PZ) Team Captains PMing refs via Steam with their first duelers. Team 1 picks PQ, Team 2 picks PX. Team Captains PMing refs via Steam with their second duelers. Team 1 picks PW, Team 2 picks PB. Team Captains PMing refs via Steam with their third duelers. Team 1 picks PE, Team 2 picks PZ. Then referee calling couples in arenas. 3 duels at one time - PQ vs PX, PW vs PB, PE vs PZ. (Since it's group stage, the format is ft3).   Team 2 player PX wins, Team 1 player PW wins, Team 2 player PZ wins. Out of this match Team 2 gets 2 points, Team 1 gets 1 point. At the end of the group stage, if two/three teams will have the same amount of points, winner will be decided by round difference (it will be counted manually). [close]

§ 1 As a captain you are directly responsible for the behaviour of your team. An inability to control your members may result in refusal from other tournaments.
§ 2 Causing problems outside of arena's, killing people who are waiting to rejoin an arena for example, isn't tolerated. There will be a warning then kick and then a ban.
§ 3 All players must be respectful and act in a mature manner during the tournament. Cussing or trash talking will not be tolerated. There will be a warning, a kick and then a ban.
§ 4 Melee speed is Medium.
§ 5 Only players which are in arena can type R. This is to prevent spam.
§ 6 Only line infantry, rankers are allowed. This rule is dependent on the type of tournament.
§ 7 5 Group stage matches will be FT3, Semi-finals and Grand-final are FT5 (subject to change).
§ 8 If you are caught using any cheats, such as unblockable or autoblock, you will be automatically disqualified.
§ 9 When a referee calls a match, the captains should PM him via Steam in which order players will play from 1 to 3.
§ 10 Team Captains will be required to referee their matches in the tournament, or they can choose to elect another member of their team.
§ 11 The tournament starts at 8pm (UK Time, a player from each team must be on the server at 7:45pm and the rest of the team should be on the server at least 5 minutes before the start time.
§ 12 You are not allowed to use the same name with different numbers or letters (MCWICKED for an example). You can however use role-play names if you state this in your sign up post.

- Some kind words -         Thanks          Hekko's legacy really carried on with such quality tournaments you hosting Marxeil. As much as I can disagree with the M. Points and shit (which in the end is a matter of opinion), there is no denying that you have truly established your tournament brand as one of the best in this community. Really hope you don't get tired of hosting it and keep on improving them (especially in the small details on FSE OP and update messages which I personally love). Keep it up. - Tardet M.Tournaments are always great  :-* - Diablo Puts alot of effort into hosting tournaments and rankings for teams and players. Also he organises tournament with lots of notice and during the matches they flow well and matches get played well. Teams with red status (Not Ready) are first to be replaced by any new signed-up full team. Teams with orange status (Awaiting) only can be replaced if there's no red status teams left. Teams with green status (Ready) are in safe zone.

Q. Why do we have red/orange status?
A. Red if you don't have enough players to participate and you didn't add any ID yet. Orange if you didn't update the roster yet with your 3rd player OR you didn't update IDs yet.

Q. If my roster is getting edited and I'm not having enough anymore (at least 3), will we still have green status?
A. Obviously not.

Teams with red status (Not Ready) are first to be replaced by any new signed-up full team. Teams with orange status (Awaiting) only can be replaced if there's no red status teams left. Teams with green status (Ready) are in safe zone.

Q. Why do we have red/orange status?
A. Red if you don't have enough players to participate and you didn't add any ID yet. Orange if you didn't update the roster yet with your 3rd player OR you didn't update IDs yet.

Q. If my roster is getting edited and I'm not having enough anymore (at least 3), will we still have green status?
A. Obviously not.
