North & South: First Manassas / Music Submod (Released)

This is an early version of this submod, basically what it does is add more background music (that fits in well) while still keeping the original songs. You can find all of the song names in the music folder if your're curious.


This will work with version 0.5 and 1.0 Beta.


To install- Put the music folder and music.txt in your North and South folder.

Technical Support / How to disable tree and grass sway without changing to directx7?

I prefer having my game on directx9 instead of directx7, the problem is that directx9 decreases my fps. I think one of the main reasons why is the tree and grass sway. Is there any way of disabling this without switching to directx7?

Hi, I am making my own client side mod and i decided to change some of the lines in troops.txt. I think I may have messed because while we were playing as austria the general unit was in the infantry section probably because I messed up with my troops.txt). It then kicked me "for cheating" and I tried to join and it said I was banned. It's been a day since then and I am still banned. i think I was auto banned. Cpuld you guys pleased unbanned me I think I fixed the issue with my troops.txt file.

I have two problems. One is that when i try to find servers where it saids retrieving information from servers it stays on the same number when it's in the middle of finding servers. The other problem is when I try joining a server it saids connection to the server is lost.
