You think that they are not working because I am running the NW enhancement pack? I know it has a few of your skins already in it such as the Cherogovski regiment.

I gave it another try but still the skins are not working for me. I did as you said and when I got ingame, there were no skins. Do you know the name of the original skins so I can manually change them to get them to work?

You have your skins named under their custom skin. To overwrite the original skin they have to be named the same as those. I tried installing them and they would not work because they were not overwriting the files correctly. That's what I meant. It would take me forever to find the original names and rename your skin files to match. What I needed is a download with the skins named the same as the original files so that they will show up ingame for me.

Hello, I don't know if is it mentioned elsewhere within the thread, but the file which the skins are saved under, have custom names which means that they do not work or overwrite the skins they are intending to replace. I am sure with hours of looking as (I am not well versed in skinning) I could find what the name is to each and then rename the skin files so that they work properly, but if anyone else who is better at this could go through and rename them for me I would be very grateful. The skins I am trying to use are the Legion Polski Posiłkowy Lombardii - Polish Auxiliary Legion in Lombardia, and Bulgarski Chetnici - Bulgarian rebels during April Uprising. Thank you in advanced! Great work on the skins.

KGB is pulling out of this event.  We did not know this was EU and have not been able to set up a time that works for EU and NA.  We are an NA regiment.

Monday Melee
A unique line battle using historic and custom battle maps for the best experience possible.
Hosted by the Komanda Grodno Battalion


Server Information
The server will be open up to 30 minutes before in order for maps to be downloaded before the start of the event.

Server name will be *1stAA_Event* for all our events.  Password will be given 30 minutes before the start.

Battle time will begin at 8pm EST.  Rounds should start by 8:15pm EST.




Check In
Regiment leaders are expected to check in between 7:15 and 7:30 EST prior to event. We will be taking estimate numbers of attendees in order for team balance and all specialist units will be assigned.  Server password will be handed out at 7:30 EST.

Check ins will be held in the KGB team speak3: 4elements.bluefang.net




Rules:
Rules are subject to change if need be.  If you are unsure of a rule please speak with an admin.

General Rules:
  • Firing while charging is allowed, reloading is not.*
  • If your unit falls below 3, they must join another line.
  • Dismounted cavalry may act as light infantry.
  • All units may garrison walls:
    -Must remain in formation: IE- Line must stay in a line while garrison
    -Line Infantry must stand to shoot while garrisoned
* Only skirmishers may reload while in a charge.

Line Infantry:
Spoiler
  • Minimum of 6 per line
  • No more than half-man spacing
  • Must move in a line formation
  • Officers, NCOs, and musicians may be out of formation within a 5 man spacing of their line.

Artillery

  • No more than 15 including guard infantry
  • May bring 2 cannons or 1 cannon and 1 howitzer
  • May bring one sapper (sappers will only have 150 build points)
  • Guard should be no more than 10 man distance from the cannons
  • Guard must be line or guard infantry. (No light)
  • May shoot our of formation, but if they are charging, must obey line infantry rules.

Skirmishers:

  • Minimum of 6 maximum of 12 including officers, NCOs and musicians
  • May move out in an organized blob
  • 5 man spacing
  • Must be in a formation to fire
  • May fire while crouched.
  • May reload while in charge.

  • Must fire in a line

Cavalry:

  • Main body must be 10 of same unit (if you have under 10 you may only use the same unit)

  • Dragoons must be in formation and stationary to fire.

An all specialist event followed by an organized fun-mode round.

Leaders will also be read the rules for that night's fun round before server information is handed out.  Fun Rounds will vary week to week as will the rules of that round, so leaders must stay for Fun Round info and pass that on to their members to ensure that everyone is on the same page and knows all the rules before we start.




Rules:
Rules are subject to change if need be.

General Rules:
  • All units must move in formation and with their group
  • Fire on the charge is allowed for all units
  • Reload in combat is only allowed for skirmishers
  • You must stay the unit assigned unless you ok a change with an admin (changing from one cavalry unit to another is allowed, but not from cavalry to skirmisher)
  • Teams should consist of only one unit, do not mix and match.

Artillery:
1 regiment per team

  • May use up to 3 cannons or 2 cannons and one howitzer
  • May not exceed 20 players
  • May use any unit of guard or line infantry for artillery guard
  • May have 1 sapper, sappers will have 200 build points

Skirmishers:
2 Regiments per team

  • May fire and reload on charge
  • May have 1 sapper per team per skirmisher units (Artillery 1, Plus only 1 more for one or the other skirmisher regiment. Teamwork)
  • Skirmishers may use 5 man spacing and must be in an organized blob while firing
  • May only use rifles or swords. No Infantry muskets please

No limit

  • May use any cavalry unit, but must be all same unit (rule breakers will be slayed)
  • Must move in formation
  • Dragoons may fire on the charge but may not reload
  • When below 3 please join another regiment

True, but this is also a game and many people would rather be able to play it than spend their whole time in respawn just to be shot the moment they actually get back in.  Conquest is better in that aspect as you are not always spawn killed and if you are you have the chance to switch your spawn place, but the TDM has much work needing to be done to prevent spawn rape.

Maybe if the spawns were fixed and spawn rape stopped, people would be less compelled to play vs bots.  That is just my experience. I can't play TDM anymore because  I can't stand the spawn killing, and conquest can be a bit long if you just want to play for a short while.
