in the books, the letter was likely forged by mance rayder, so its possible the show is following that theory

however, in the books, mance rayder is still alive, and in the show he is not. the show very much disvalued mance's character, by removing a lot of his crew and his child from the story. so as far as the show is concerned, it probably isnt mance, but who it really is is hard to say.

i only disagree with the baelish theory because baelish is probably smart enough not to send letters under different names using the exact same wax. sure, the show has been showing wax being pressed for a long time, but i think its to fulfill some weird fetish among the cast and crew than some elaborate setup for some pretty minuscule result, the kind most people wouldnt notice.

but hey, the writers dont even fucking care anymore. even in theyre interviews for the show theyre just not as interested as they were in the earlier seasons.

The cut down on the amount of episodes in these last 2 seasons shows that they're basically just bored at this point.

Note "The President", not "the Government and Congress"

How is that a happy ending or fan favorites? The way GRRM has been writing it for the past decade and something years highly points towards it, much more so than with Young Griff. Danny is the sister of Rhaegar, which means she's descended from the prophesized line of Aerys II and Rhaella Targaryen. Jon is likely the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, also making him descended from Aerys and Rhaella. The only odd one is Tyrion, who's likely only 50% Targaryen, because of the chance that he's the bastard child of Aerys and Joanna Lannister, Tywin's wife. But that's closer than Young Griff, who's likely not at all related to Aerys, but instead a Blackfyre descended from the female line (there's a theory that he's the son of Illyrio Mopatis and a female Blackfyre, which makes some sense because of Illyrio's particular dedication towards Young Griff and explains why the Golden Company would want to crown him, but doesn't necessarily explain Griff-ington, though he's likely just been lied to. Remember, he was banished to Essos about half way through Robert's Rebellion, so he'd have no idea where "Rhaegar's son" would have gone. Most likely, he fell into a depression, was picked up by Illyrio or the Golden Company, and used as a pawn to support Young Griff.

I think I will wait with Warhammer until I have a clearer idea, not to mention my poor old machine struggles to run Atilla. Warhammer may make it commit Hara Kiri. I pre-ordered Rome II on disk and was a little underwhelmed although I was fortunate in that I never had as many problems running it as others did, although my game got stuck in the post for a month so it had probably been patched a bit by the time I got it.

On disk games.

The last game I got on disk was zoo tycoon 2.
