What's your favourite regiment of that period? Why? Feel free to post sources, pictures, clips/documentaries/movies!

Please be polite and serious.

Cheers,

The 1er Regiment de Grenadiers a-pied de la Garde Imperiale, they're my favourite regiment because thoughout their history, they've always succeeded, they never surrendered or retreated, they were one of the best regiments in the world of the time, if not the best.

La Grenadiers a Cheval de la Garde Imperiale
Fabourite cavalry regiment because they pretty much saw victory in every engagment they entered, they were stylish, disciplined and a fierce sight to behold.

It´s my favourite regiment because is a interesting regiment.John Dowie a rich Scot created this regiment,He was a fan of Spanish Gold Century. In the beginning the regiment called "Leales a Pizarro" and they wore like Spanish Conquistadores. But when the regiment arrived Cádiz they changed his name to "Leal Legión Extremeña"  ???
