Our group represents the military of Texas if it remained as an independent nation throughout the American Civil War.
The Republic of Texas has a very short military heritage, but in its short life span managed to form some notable regiments, one in particular being the New Braunfels Militia.
The New Braunfels Militia was a professional militia of Texans who lived in New Braunfels, a German Immigrant town located in Texas.
The Militia was founded by Prince Carl of Solm-Braunfels, he was paramount in spearheading the establishment of German Immigration into Texas, and is one of the founders of New Braunfels, for which the town is named after his homeland.
It would bring us Texans great pleasure if any German Speakers would be interested in representing the New Braunfels Militia, which historically would be comprised of a large amount of German Speaking Immigrants, In BCoF. If you are interested in this, please check out our discord.
