Whats NW Standpoint on Discord?

Well, I was curious, what is the majority opinion about discord compared to teamspeak? It is really modern and sleek and can be easily joined from a Mobile Device unlike ts3 which costs $5.00 in the App Store.  But does it fall too short for regiments to have upwards of 20 people in the server. Almost forgot to say that the servers are free to create and run unlike team speak. Whats everyones Ooinion?

The use of teamspeak in the NW community most likely grew out of the first couple regiments using the program, and then those players went off an formed thier own regs, and then the tradition of teamspeak followed.

Well I've never used it myself but if it doesn't work for more than 20 people then that rules out most NW regiments.

I also find teamspeak to be easier to use although I don't have that much experience neither discord

Information on teamspeak is also much better. Like if you have regimental information channels where as Discord is limited in that respect too.

I feel as though Discord is just for friends and maybe streamers that want to do some sub games

i hate this debate so much

discord is really hard to use properly with a large amount of people and does not provide nearly half the things teamspeak has to offer, its ok for small groups i guess but outside of that it sucks

I use discord with my friends, Teamspeak for other things

Thanks for the feedback, so far im the only one to vote for Discord, Although I agree teamspeak is much better for controlling regiment sized populations I agree with the ones that said Discord is good for friends or a group of 10~ like the Nr7 xD

Yeah, Discord is cool but just not practical given how regiments function.

Teamspeak 3 is better than Discord. Easier to use, and yeah, you can add informations etc in channels..

Discord is good for small teams of players on CoD, Battlefield, LoL, but not for NW community.
