The 77th Alabama Volunteer Infantry Regiment is a BCOF EU group based in the confederate faction with a long, rich history in the
Napoleonic Wars community where we are known as the 77y.


77y was founded in humble beginnings back in 2009 in Battlegrounds 2.
Our community has grown over the years to become one of the oldest and experienced regiments in NW
and now we are taking the step forward into a new game.

Our focus will be to have fun both in and outside events, it is a game after all and they are supposed to be enjoyable
We will do our utmost to have a wholesome silly community for you to take part in and we are not above a good laugh when something goes wrong.

Besides being a Battle Cry Of Freedom Regiment our community plays a wide variety of different games regularly such as
Hell let loose, Arma 3, Crusader kings 3 and more. Whilst still having our roots in Mount & Blade and Napoleonic Wars as the 77y.

We wanted to be a Confederate regiment while sticking with
the whole 77 thing we currently use in NW as the 77y.

Thanks for the suggestion,
77th NC was our group's name in N&S but it was heavily associated with banter and edgy jokes when we played and we wanted something different than that.
We also looked at the 7th SR but decided to keep the 77 in the name as a group.
This regiment is focused on gameplay and creating a good atmosphere for our members, as such we did not see the need to pick a historical one.

Hi there. Starting coming Monday 04.04.2022 at 9pm CET (3pm EST) we will be hosting an Official EU Linebattle Event. Anyone is welcome to attend. The Event will rotate between different game-modes and maps every week.

Signups will be done on our our Discord server: https://discord.gg/battlecryoffreedom in #event-signups 30 minutes prior to the event. All Regiment leaders or Reps must be present at minimum 30-15 minutes prior, so that we can figure out team balance in a timely manner and can start the event on time. Specialist roles such as Sharpshooters or artillery will also be assigned then.
