18 Pułk Piechoty (Since 18.10.2018)[EU]

At 3 July of 1812 i Vilnius officially colonel Tomasz Lewicki, very rich nobleman from the Grodno land, created the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Dutchy of Lithuania on the order of the confederation. Initially, the regiment's rows were powered by recruits from many Tomasz Lewicki's estates, in this way the base of the regiment a first battalion has created , in the next days the battalion was ready, and uniforming and training has began. Initially, it was agreed that the eighteen number must be on the plates of Czapkas. But a one rich burgler from the Vilnius paid for a big amount of the amazon shields with the 18's on them, that way a amazon shield stayed. On beginings of September on a Vilnius land was recruited a 2nd battalion. But there was only a centre companies.

At 18 September the 18pp fought in a battle against 26y Pechotny Polk, sadly there was only 3 companies in fight. Heroic attitude of soldiers from Vilnius crushed tsarist regiment. After first victory stuff of 18pp convinced a generalship for attack on a old Lithuanian lands. A Samogitian Campaign ran at 8 November of 1812, vanguard of army was 18pp. At evening of the 8 November 18pp faced with 13y Huzarsky Polk, with better staff they flanked and shoot to horsemen, before they charged they were only in 1/4 of their quantity. After first battle a 3y Pechotny Polk arrived, after a hours of fighting 18pp had to back away. After quantity regeneration 18pp joined Lithuanian forces in town of Žiaukos where they joined into a battle against Russo-Prussian Corp, 18pp was in line against a german FKG. After few salvos, 18pp fixed bayonets, after few moments FKG was retreating. After heroic victory russian army gone back, and allowed lithuanians to make a siege of Klaipėda.

There are two the most common used czapkas in the 18pp, and ... there were many more variants becouse of low maintence of 18pp.

Like the 75e and 75th are two very different regiments and its common sense in the community that when you want to refer to one of them, you use the regiment's native language in order to not confuse anyone.
